I stayed in room 120 this week. When I took a shower, the n room fire alarm went off. I took it to the front desk and they said they just replaced it. Next morning the hotels fire alarm went off around 4 or 5 am. Then again when I took a shower the in room alarm went off. Third day same thing. I took it to the front desk.
Have stayed here several times. The hotel is consistently clean and front desk staff is friendly. This last time, we had a room just off the lobby and noise was an issue, with a very noisy TV at 4:20a.m. and a loud conversation - no idea if it was a shift change or other guests. Noise was not an issue when we stayed on the upper floors.
Breakfast is mediocre - a lot of pre-packaged baked goods. I'd like to see more sustainable options (e.g. no styrofoam, and why are the apples shrink-wrapped in plastic?).
That said, it is clean and is the best (clean) option for the price in the area.
The room was dated and the furniture had many damaged areas. The mattress was as stiff as a board. The long fluorescent lights over the bed were horrible. The body wash and shampoo dispensers in the shower were empty and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed. The front desk was very nice but the hotel was not close to worth the $175 we paid.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast was only so-so with limited healthy options. The food area was clean and well kept up.
Great property for a few nights on business while working in the area. My room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly, efficient and helpful with restaurant suggestions. I'm staying there again this week for business.
