Staff was amazing, professional and friendly. Hotel itself was out of the way and quite old. Definitely needs renovated.Also smelled moldy and closed up.

Slow check in, no shower curtain or hair dryer
We checked in late and had to wait behind a couple that had issues. I was not acknowledged that I was obviously waiting for my turn. It was finally my turn to check in and it took quite some time, wasn’t sure if something was wrong as the check in person seemed very unsure. We got to the room and were very tired since it was so late. When we woke up we realized there was no shower curtain and knew it would take too much time to get someone to bring us one so we just had to make do. Then we realized there was no hair dryer so my husband had to go to the front desk to ask for one. I was grateful for a place to sleep but wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone who had another choice.

The room was cleanish but the property is very aged and in need of a remodel. The room had a musky odor upon entering. Also bring cash as drinks and snacks purchased at the counter can’t be charged to your room or by debit card.

Good location for Columbia SC Army graduation
The property is older which is why it's more affordable than other places in the area. We chose it for proximity to the base for our son's Army graduation. It was 13 min from Ft Jackson gate 4. Decent food options around the hotel. Staff was wonderful, warm & friendly which for me makes up for any aging building.
