I went on a short 3 day solo trip. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. My deluxe King room had a nice desk with chair and another comfortable chair. The room came with a small microwave and refrigerator which was nice. The continental breakfast was ok, but having the ability to have coffee or tea 24hrs a day was nice. The place is not your typical hotel, which i loved. I would stay there again.

Our initial check in was great. On our third night a small child was staying above us we were kept up till 1 am and early at 6 am because of the child running upstairs. We called the front desk and were blown off the woman stated they just moved in. So from 10:30 pm until after 1:30am we were awake listening to the child run and jump around the room. Again on the second night of their stay they sounded like they were coming through the ceiling at 11 pm The woman at the front desk had an attitude when I brought it to her attention and absolutely nothing was done. We endured this for 3 nights of our stay not a lot of sleep at all. We also traveled with a 3 year old and obeyed the quiet hours. Although our room was made up everyday not once did they vacuum or sweep and they were bad about emptying trash. Overall the room was ok. The woman we had on check in was very nice but the other two we had contact with were very rude and unhelpful and overall unpleasant.

Unique old style Inn. Room was clean and quaint. Had to kill a few spiders. Property was very quiet. Adjoining steakhouse restaurant was closed for renovations but lots of nearby dining options. Good continental breakfast. Final morning there was no hot water in the facility which nixed the chance at a shower. Desk associate said repairs were "on the way" but we were checking out well before they would arrive. We were advised they would notify the management of our inconvenience, whatever that meant.

Our family loved staying here! It's a short enough drive to the beaches without being right on the beach. The place was such a nice change from chain hotels. The staff was super friendly. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious for our family of 6. It was great. The only downside was a weak internet connection where some areas I couldn't access.

I would stay again

The hotel may be old, but it is very clean and well kept. And that goes for the exterior as well as the interior The staff was very helpful and very polite

Formally lived in the area and haven't been there in 25 years. Always a good location for the area. Women at front desk very helpful. Room attendant did a terrific job. It was very hot just missed having a pool.

Affordable, clean, and quiet

It’s a historic hotel so don’t expect upgrades you might be accustomed to, but at the same time it was very quiet and in a great location and the sheets themselves were very clean and tidy. They allow pets and you can smell such; and have sulfur water so maybe wash your hair prior to staying here. But at the same time, very nice people, fresh flowers, decent breakfast, great area, sheets were clean, and felt safe.
