We booked a suite, 2 queen bed with a sleeper sofa to sleep 6 at this hotel through expedia.When we arrived we were told expedia should not have allowed us to book this as it wasnt available . We could not cancel due to cancellation policy rules, they could only provide us with a room with 2 double beds to sleep 4 , the hotel would could not reduce the price to the room we received and said we needed to contact expedia. Expedia reached out to the hotel and said they refused any refund/reduction of rates. My son had to sleep on a sheet on the dirty hotel floor. We asked for a roll away the hotel said only for king rooms. They did not offer anything to help accommodate us at all. Both expedia and the hotel dropped the ball here and put the blame on one another to get out of making the situation right. After driving 9 hours and just needing to get kids to bed, having to “just deal” with something that wasnt our fault and my child sleep on the floor was a huge disappointment. We will not use expedia or stay at a Holiday Inn express again.

Just a great overall hotel! Clemmons is the halfway point of our yearly beach trip and we’ve stayed there every year since it was opened. The best free breakfast ever! And the pool stays open until 10! Which is great for tiring out the little ones. Will always continue to stay here.

Very nice staff. The lady that worked the breakfast area was very kind and helpful. We did pick up a couple individual wrapped cheese danishes that hat mold on them but we did see that till after we had left the hotel. Beds were good. Would stay again.

Room was great. Breakfast options were good. Location was very good. Only issue was with housekeeping. We had a three day stay and kept the DND sign on the first day. The second, as we left the room in the morning, we talked to the housekeeper in the hallway stating we were gone for the day and that we definitely needed towels when they got to our room. Came back in the evening and our room hadn't even been touched. Nothing cleaned and no clean towels. We were able to go get some from the front desk. Other than housekeeping, everything was great for our stay.

We are local and actually watched this hotel being built so we were very excited to stay here when our ac when out. We will sadly not be staying here again or recommend to our visiting friends and family again. We have a 7 month old and there was someone who slammed a door at least 15 times at 4 am. The refrigerator had old turnip greens left in there from someone else. The carpet had stains on it also.

Awesome location for convenience to dining options and grocery store. Hotel is only a couple of years old so still looks like new. We want to stay again.
