We truly enjoyed our stay at this little motel. The woman who checked us in (I think the owner) was so sweet and welcoming. What a fun little town Steinhatchee is! I’m so sorry about the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene and hope everyone is safe!

We were arriving later at night and the front desk hostess called us to let us know she’d, literally, leave the lights on for us in the room and a lock box at our door for our convenience. She told us to drive safely and made sure we didn’t need anything else. So much kindness in the short time we were here, would really love to come back and stay longer.

If you’re looking for a great place to stay that is quiet, convenient, affordable and offers everything you need for going out on the water this is the place to stay. We used the wet slip and boat hoist which are conveniently located across the street from the hotel. Parking is no issue and there is a place to keep your boat trailer while you’re staying. Staff is amazing and so helpful. Southern hospitality at its finest. We will definitely be back to stay!

Old school with a great vibe
It was a really neat place. It was built a while ago, which gives it an old school charm type place, especially when they give you an actual key for your room! The service at the front desk was awesome, getting information from the manager about cool places to go to see and things to do. The pool was awesome and the huge oak tree that gives amazing shade later in the afternoon is just magestic. Steinhatchee isn't very big but it is in the middle of everything. I had never been to Steinhatchee before and we had a great time. I'll certainly stay there again!

This place doesn't suck :)
Pool was really nice, cleaned daily - staff was so thoughtful and helpful. Attention to detail and customer service was notable. I can see why people return here over and over.
