No exercise facility in the hotel. Restaurant/bar associated with hotel had limited menu. Temperature control in room was brittle, easily too hot then too cold. Wasn't extreme weather for January in Chicago, either.

When I arrived I got checked in with no issues I had a one bedroom king no issues there only thing I didn’t like was I needed to leave by 4am got told they don’t open valet till 5am so I made a exception to stay but only for me to be told in about 10 min called twice more just for them to say by this time it’s 530am it’s been ready it’s across the street I was never told that I had to come over and pick it I dropped it off in from of the hotel

The "VIP Access" room that Ibooked didn't have a mini refrig, nor a microwave for my food. I've been in many Hotels, even cheaper ones and this is the first Hotel I've ever been in without these sadly. The room was also really small. Only thing Ican say is the restaurant there is fairly descent, and Idid love the fact that this Hotel is around everything. 2 shopping Malls, the 360 Skydeck, Banks, Food Marts, and the Tesla storefront. That's as good as it gets.

Our room had an adjoining room so heard every word our neighbors said as they came into room at 3:30am as connecting door had no noise insulation. They were just talking in regular tones but had 45 min conversation that kept us both awake.

NEVER AGAIN!
Over the years i have stayed in this hotel numerous times - i will not make that mistake again! Checked in after 9 PM - the only greeting was 'sign this stating you will vacate the room by 11 AM (2 nights booked). No mention that housekeeping was 'at request' - so no cleaning / refresh. The bathroom was 'renovated' by someone who was obviously blind (several years ago). Floors were dirty with bits of TP scattered about. Sink drain was painfully slow, lights constantly flickered, ceiling in shower flaking and crumbling. Oh yeah, only lukewarm water!!! No fridge, no ice machine in the hotel. Thank you for not inquiring about my stay upon check-out - it had the potential to 'get ugly'. Instead I got glared at... It was cheap and i got less than i paid for!

Very inviting and friendly staff, but I did not receive clear instructions for payment of parking so I had to pay a higher rate for 1 of the 2 days. No snacks, water, or other drinks available to buy in hotel besides going to the bar so bring your own if you plan on snacking/drinking in your room.

The hotel was exactly what we needed in the heart of the city with access to everything. Staff was great and friendly. We had a standard double bed room and it was good if not a little small. I would have liked a refrigerator as that was not standard and we couldn't keep any of our delicious leftovers from local restaurants.

Great location, but noisy
Best location in the city! Safe and walkable area near restaurants, bars, and attractions. Great service too! The building is historic and beautiful, but unfortunately there is not much soundproofing. Too noisy for us light sleepers! And the lack of adequate towels and toiletries for a 5-night stay was disappointing. We had to make several calls and still did not get sufficient supplies delivered.
