Small room, though typical for downtown Chicago. Niche hotel with a quaint charm. I definitely would stay again and had a good experience. The room felt very upscale. I checked in late, attended a conference downtown the next day and didn't spend much time here, though was very satisfied. I used an online prepay parking garage just across the road that fit my full-size pickup just fine.

Lovely two night stay
Lovely hotel. Overall no issues other than the room was very dry so we had to drink lots of water in the night. Bed was so comfy! Hotel bar was very nice.

Great location and views of the city facing Michigan Avenue. No amenities in room or in the building. Hotel is VERY dated. Adjacent restaurant with very limited hours and did not see any patrons there. Most front desk people were nice but not over friendly or attentive. I’m sure it was amazing back in the day but needs help now- ok at best

The hotel is cheaper compared to other hotels nearby and in the right place of the downtown. Near to major sightseeing like Oakstreet beach and 360 Chicago, restaurants. Room service was excellent. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable, thermostat fluctuated between 77-80 though the hotel had it set to 60. Shower handle was difficult to operate. No fridge but they brought us a complimentary microwave when we asked. Hotel was close to the location of things we wanted to do. Rate was on the high side but the marathon was in town.

This is a vintage hotel which i loved! Our room was huge with a separate bedroom and two bathrooms. This was a fancy hotel back in the day! Crown molding on the ceilings, tile, granite in barhrooms. Breakfast in the restaurant was a nice bonus. Enjoyed our one night stay and whirlwind trip to Chicago!
