This property was more run down than we were anticipating. Our room was not properly cleaned at all. There was someone else's left over contact lenses on the floor, someone's used rag in the shower, dried up spilled food on the side of the bed and dingy rooms that did not meet the pictures that were provided. I will not be staying here again and will be sharing my experience.

We stayed here for the Chicago Marathon for 5 nights. The hotel is old but well maintained and it was charming for us to stay somewhere with so much character and history. Staff was incredibly helpful and had to resolve a few personal issues for us related to bad weather etc. We would absolutely stay here again. Great value, historic, and the area can’t be beat.

The hallway is dark and gloomy. The outlets in the room broken, leaking shower on the bathroom floor, security lock on the door broken. Outlet next to lamp broken. Parking was extremely expensive ($76 a night). Worst experience ever!! They also price gauged ! Avoid at all cost.
