I was glad to get a nice warm welcome and get an early check in.. very clean room.. Weber grill is a restaurant attached to the building.. very affordable and excellent customer service.

I've stayed at other properties downtown, and I have to say that I will be returning to the Hilton Garden Inn from now on.It is so close to great restaurants and shopping. It is easy to get to Michigan Avenue, where you can hop on a bus to go to other places. I reserved a month ahead, and I feel that I got a great deal on the rate. Best of all, the floors are high enough that you will get a beautiful view of the city (I don't know how, but somehow, after the lobby, the elevator goes express up to the 12th floor. We were on the 17th floor). Love Chicago night lights.

I liked the security measures that were taken at the property. The facilities were clean and the shower had good pressure. I did not think the room size was adequate given the price. The bed frames are too big for the room and posed a hazard. I have bruises from hitting it multiple times as does the rest of my family. I liked that the property is moving away from single use plastic with the refillable shampoo, soap, etc. but the toilet paper was awful and you can hear everything that happens in your neighbors room through the bathroom vent. In addition, the road noise was very loud even though we were on the 16th floor. All in all, it was clean and safe but not the luxury hotel I thought I was getting when I made my reservations.

We had a very nice stay. The hotel was in a good location within walking distance to the Navy pier, Millennium park and tons of good restaurants. Parking was very convenient due to the parking structure being adjacent to the hotel. We were there for a baseball game at Wrigley field, which worked out perfect because right next door to the hotel was the cta (meteo train). The room was nice and clean. Im real funny about hotel bathrooms and I give the bathroom a 10 because it was updated, clean and spotless!!!! The bed was kind of hard but over all I still had a good stay and slept good!

Room was spacious however lights and thermostat are on sensor so couldn’t keep temperature of the room at a certain temperature or keep lights on. Gym was well equipped. Great location. We had problems with the room cards/key and needed to get it reprogrammed 3 times in 4 nights

Exactly what we needed for our time in Chicago! Just a couple of weird room things: 1) the fridge was so cold it froze our water and there was no setting to change it 2) the bathroom light had a mind of its own. It would turn on in the middle of the night and turned off twice while showering

Morning front desk staff didn’t have a clue very poorly trained in hospitality; when I finally got to my room, there was a huge trash bag sitting outside the door. I happened to see the front desk staff to ask him to remove it and he asked if it belonged to be (mind you literally just checked in after having the most miserable check in process ever) he removed the bag. I got to the room bathroom towels were stained hair was in the shower and towels; housekeeping was unprofessional. When I had questions about my bill the morning manager was very rude put me on hold and never came back to the line. If you’re seeking a great location then this hotel is good; but that’s where the pros end. I won’t be returning.

The hotel itself is fine. Checking in was a nightmare. The attendant seemed to not know what he was doing while two others stood idly by laughing and disconnected to their job or the image they were giving. I ended up getting a different room set up from what was promised. Checking out was easy and THAT attendant was courteous and helpful.

Enjoyed everything for the most part. Was a little upset when leaving and the parking lot fee was double. When we checked in, the employee stated a price. Come to find out that it was double. I spoke with someone at the front desk and even spoke to a manager. They were very rude about it and said that there was nothing they could do. I was disappointed because of not being given the correct rate upon check in.

The location was good. It was close to all attractions. I had booked 2 rooms and I had requested adjacent rooms since we were a party of 7. We reached the hotel at 12 and were told that the rooms were not ready early which was fine. We came back to the hotel at 4 and we had to wait 45 min to get the second room on a different floor. The check-in staff could not accommodate our request for adjacent rooms or even rooms on the same floor.
