This historic hotel is in the perfect location to visit the city and discover the many bars and restaurants on Chicago’s near north side. It has a nice mix of old and new features, paying homage to the famous Pump Room. Stunning reception. Our room had not really been upgraded to modern standard but the bed was super comfortable. Unfortunately the air conditioning was noisy as was the toilet which was continually running. But it was reasonably priced which made up for it’s shortcomings.

Comfortable bed but lacked coffee making facility. When I asked the man in the bar for an item, he had a real attitude! Needs to have a lesson in customer service. I would not stay here again.

Lovely hotel but furniture and areas definitely need some TLC. Staff seemed to lack excitement in restaurant...almost felt like a bother to be waited on. Great location with plenty of lovely restaurants and beautiful neighborhoods.
