The pool was out of order. The breakfast was slim. The sign at checkin said they do not allow locals to check in to stay (weird), they also make you pay a $4 upcharge for utilities. The pillows where poor. The beds were not great. They have been renovating for over a year and I have not noticed any progress.

Staff was nice and courteous at check-in. Property was under remodel which was undenounced to me at the time of booking. First floor hallways and elevators were dirty from this apparent remodel that was underway. Elevators seemed a bit sketchy getting in and on the way down they made some abnormal noises. Room was freshy remodeled and was quite pleasant. The continental breakfast was good and had a decent selection. Pool\Gym was shutdown so no thoughts there.

Good location off I-80. Very large hotel. Good amenities. Room had not been renovated yet. Renovation crews kept working past 7 PM. Loud with loud music.

I've stayed at the Red Lion multiple times and they have been under construction for a VERY long time. The updated rooms are very nice if you're lucky enough to get one. The old rooms are musty, dirty and uncomfortable. The booking says it includes free breakfast however that was not available during our stay. The restaurant wasn't even open for breakfast.

This hotel felt very unsafe! The walls were super thin so I could hear the people above and beside me all night. Also was awakened early in the morning by a man cursing at his wife & threatening her life. I would never stay there again!

We did not realize when we booked our room that they were undergoing extensive remodeling, but the rate they gave us compared to other hotels in the area was just too good to bypass. AND the breakfast in the morning was outstanding!!
