Honeymoon Cabin/Mtn & Lake Views/Hot Tub/FP/Wi-Fi

New Owners have spared no expense to update and upgrade the cabin throughout to create an even more Spectacular Guest experience!
Inside the cabin, warm wood surrounds you, and floor to ceiling glass brings in the Stunning Views. The Open floorpan feels Spacious and Cozy.
The Living Room offers upgraded Leather Reclining Furniture, and a flat screen Satellite TV above the fireplace. Designer Appointments are found through out this "Honeymoon" Cabin! (Which our Guests point out is wonderful for all occasions)
The kitchen offers upscale Stainless Steel appliances, Granite counter tops, and is well stocked with everything you will need to prepare and serve your meals!

Outside and facing the View is a covered Deck to relax and enjoy Nature, the Mountains, and Lake Fontana. In the distance, you will see the Bryson City Scenic Railway Trustle and even the faint sound of the Choo Choo, as it passes from time to time.
Additionally, there is a Large Private open deck on the side of the cabin, which is home to the very Private and Sparkling Hot Tub, Upscale Propane Fire-Pit, and a few Chairs to relax after a soak in the Hot Tub (Plush Bathrobes are provided).

In the event you may need to stay connected, browse the internet, and email everyone to let them know how much you are enjoying yourselves, Majestic Overlook now offers WiFi (Complimentary internet use is unlimited).
Conveniently Located within 20 minutes of the N.O.C., Bryson City, Lake Fontana, Shopping and Dining!

We are available to assist you, and offer a few optional convenience services:

... Shopping service. If you would like to arrive at the Cabin with your Groceries already stocked, ask for details, we will have everything waiting for you upon your arrival.
... If you would like to enjoy a Spa Massage Service at the Cabin, it is a good idea to book in advance to assure availability. Your Professional Massage Therapist will come to you, so when you are done, they quietly disappear and leave you to relax!
... If your vacation dates are during 'Season' or Holidays and you plan to rent a pontoon or fishing boat, it may be a good idea to reserve in advance. Lake Fontana and the shore line is primarily Nantahala National Forest, or is part of The Great Smoky Mountain National Park, which is Federally owned, so the Lake is never 'Busy', but the few available rental boats do get booked up.

Good Experience
Overall I would rate our experience a 4/5 stars. The reason for this is because the listing didn’t mention anything about needing an AWD or 4WD vehicle, luckily I read the reviews before hand and took our AWD vehicle. So my suggestion would be to read the reviews first. Part of the way to get to the cabin is very steep with lots of rocks. So if you have an AWD or 4WD with some clearance you will be fine. The cabin itself was beautiful, the views were outstanding and definitely worth it. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed.

The pictures are very accurate. Very nice and clean. It’s a little challenging getting to the cabin. Narrow and steep roads. I’m glad we decided to take our truck instead of car. Not sure the car would have made it up that hill. GPS is very sketchy in the area. Definitely follow the directions that are sent to you. But the cabin was worth it to get to it.

We had a great time at the cabin! The view was absolutely amazing and had everything we needed. If you want an offroad experience and hideaway cabin this is a great place! It is not too far from any place you might want to visit. 100% recommend and we will stay there the next time!

Amazing Romantic Getaway
The name is in the listing. This place seemed to good to be true via the listing, but it was everything and more! the views were out of this world. The house was extremely clean and cozy. My wife and I loved it. I will not knock it for this but want to let others know, we did bring our dog being the place is pet friendly. However, just on the actual site there is very little flat/safe land for the dog to roam. We didn't have any problems with our dog and she loved laying on the deck looking out just wanted to give a heads up so your dog can be comfy. Lastly, the first time up the mountain to get to this spot was scary. However, you need to just take the turns as wide as possible and use all your vehicles momentum. We took my work van aka a Ford Transit Connect up the mountain. So if that can make it up, anything can! Highly recommended, would go back again.

Secluded & Peaceful
My husband and I stayed here for our 11 year anniversary weekend. We loved it! It was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed the views and watching the sunset from the porch. We also enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and looking out at the mountains. There is another cabin right next store but there is a fence and the hot tub is secluded. There was another couple next to us that we only saw once all weekend. We will be staying here again!

Spectacular views
Majestic Overlook is a lovely cabin with absolutely spectacular views and it was the perfect size for my husband and me. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large hot tub, a gas grill and gas fire pit. Unfortunately the weather was unseasonably chilly during our stay so we didn’t get to use the rocking chairs and swing on the porch as much as we would have liked. It should be noted that access is up a mountain on a single lane gravel and dirt road with hairpin turns and no guardrails. About halfway to the cabin there was a sign that said “No 2-wheel drive vehicles beyond this point”. Our first trip up was harrowing and we were in a Subaru! That being said, we enjoyed our stay.

Loved it until the neighbors came
We absolutely loved the cabin, didn’t like so much that it was right next door to another. Even with that, we had 2 days of no one else around & the view was amazing. The peeps that rented the place next door were awesome & not there much.. we were looking for a much more secluded place, but like I said, it was for the first 2 days! Nice, homey place to relax with your fur babies! And I do appreciate that you allow them also!

Overall decently satisfactory
The house was very clean and just as pictured. It was stocked with cooking items but the pans etc should be replaced. Compared to other properties at the price the items were sub par. When paying for a hot tub I would expect the Jets to work. It maintained temp but didn't fully function. Overall the stay was nice. The property was directly next to another house which I did not realize, after looking back on the listing it did mention that fact but not very clearly. The directions we were given could have been a little more clear. The owners are aware of the fact that the hot tub has not been fixed but did not communicate this before our stay. WiFi was good at times but often would glitch. It was a nice stay for two people. If the hot tub, bedroom fan, and kitchen items were better I would definately recommend.

Excellent!
We really liked the cabin. It's the perfect size for two. Very well equipped kitchen. There was toilet paper, paper towels, sponge, kitchen rags and towel, dishwasher tabs, towels and washcloths, travel size of lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap, two robes, kleenex, games, extra pillow, and in the dresser drawer was even a flashlight. The deck by the hot tub has two chairs, a grill, and a gas fire pit table. The house close by never caused us any problem with privacy. The cabin has curtains for every window. The only thing that bothered me a bit was no vent system on the oven/stovetop so I won't plan on cooking bacon next time. The tap water is good to drink. The bed is very comfortable. The shower is great. The hot tub was amazing. The view is stunning. We really enjoyed our stay and we plan on returning!

Great Get-away
We absolutely loved staying in this cabin! The views are breathtaking and the place was immaculate. The cabin has everything you would need for a nice weekend in the mountains. One small recommendation I would make is to get some cushions for the rocking chairs so as to optimize the comfort when enjoying the view :) Would highly recommend for a weekend away in the mountains!!

The Views Are Breathtaking!
We stayed in Majestic Overlook from 12/21-12/28 and loved the views and the quaintness of the cabin! We are very strict on clean and this cabin was clean, even under the bed! The only area that could use a dusting, and is always hard to miss is the sliding bathroom door. But that’s nit-picking! We cooked all but two of our meals in the cabin and although it is well equipped with the normal things, I was glad I brought my Ninja Foodi to assist. There was no a crockpot to put a meal on and go out for the day. There also were no plastic or glass containers with lids for leftovers. We could see the couple from the other cabin every time they walked by, if we had the curtains open, so it is not completely private, as stated. This did not bother us. PROS: Views! Porch, rockers, the bed is extremely comfortable (both of us have bad backs), great pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. Lots of cookware (some under the stove drawer). Although there were some spices, salt, pepper, and oils there, take your zip lock Bags, aluminum foil and any containers you may need. We had rain the first two days and stayed put but went to Bryson City, Gatlinburg (Smokey Mountain Brewery), Sylva (nice little town), Lazy hiker Brewery where my niece is a bartender and had a great lunch there, and also drove to Dillsboro, into Franklin and a few other places. We were in my Chrysler mini van and had no issues, however, we are experienced driving in these mountains. Had they forecasted snow and colder weather, we would of driven our wrangler. Overall, a beautiful area, cute little cabin and we appreciated the little Christmas tree and decorations that were put out for our week there!

Relaxation at its finest
As a mother of 2 very young children, what I need most when I get away is to feel relaxed. Literally as soon as we pulled into the driveway (after the somewhat nerve wrecking drive up the mountain) the relaxation sunk in. The hot tub helped even more with that. The views from the decks are breath taking and awe-inspiring. The cabin is so cozy and attention to detail is obvious. What a magnificent place. You truly comes to realize how insignificant one is among the beauty of the surroundings, it's amazing. My only complaint is how close the neighbors are although we did not hear them at all unless they were in the parking area. My only 2 suggestions to visitors: #1. if you are unfamiliar/uncomfrtable with mountain driving & switchbacks DRIVE THE ROAD IN DAYTIME, do NOT drive it at night. #2. Bring your own coffee! There is a pot but no grounds/beans. Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity to stay at you cabin. It was truly an unforgettable experience and I was only there for 17 hours! :) :) :) I would absolutely visit again!
