Macy was amazing!! Friendly very helpful. She and Cordale helped me get my firestick working with the tv so my husband could watch his football game. Kat at the front desk was also awesome. I lost my bracelet. She checked all the lost and found. So hopefully it will turn up. Everything was great as always!! Staff is great!! Now neighbors top and side not so much. But we love Folly & Tides we will be back!!

Stay overall very good. Not the first time we've stayed at the tides and each stay we had good experience. Although this stay, Don't know why music by pool area was blaring at 7am Saturday morning which was very aggravating. Called the front desk and they turned the music off.

Folly beach is gorgeous. The hotel lobby is great. If you have a pet, it seems like a great hotel. The rooms are not well kept. The bathrooms are not well maintained, and we found a bedbug in our room which, impressively, did not seem to alarm the staff.

First and last time staying at Tides! Very noisy! Many inconveniences such as only 1 working elevator that was programmed to stop on every floor for several hours a day causing long delays getting to and from your room. No prior notice of parking lot getting resurfaced which cause parking issues, making getting around the property with your pet difficult, and the tar odor was horrible. The room looked clean but had been heavily deodorized which was concerning and affected our sinuses. The 2 stars are for location and friendliness of staff only!

Staff is the star but property needs help
The front desk staff was amazing and the location was beautiful but the property itself was rough around the edges. The tub was in bad shape and the shower curtain rod was hanging on by a thread. I understand we were by the ocean but there was an excessive amount of rust in the room. One elevator was out of order and the other either had a 12 person line or a cleaning cart waiting to get on it. I was on the fifth floor and had to use the stairs everytime. Which was not convenient with all my luggage and pet.
