Our room was incredibly humid. We did not have a hot shower. The shower itself was almost impossible to turn on. The bathroom got so fogged despite no hot water. The breakfast was mediocre.

The bathroom wasn't very clean and the water in the shower was warm, not hot. The breakfast area is jam-packed with tables, making it very hard to leave without asking the person at the table next to you to get up.

Great Choice

I took my mom on her first cruise out of Charleston with Carnival Sunshine and stayed here the night before the cruise, absolutely an excellent choice, clean, friendly staff, attentive, and smell nice and they allow you to leave your car for free if cruising, breakfast was good, this will be my choice to stay in Charleston

July 5- July 9 2024 over all good

Over all our stay was great. We were in town for a wedding and some tourists thing's. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Check in and out was easy. The breakfast was okay and kept our bellies full for most of the day. Each day the eggs were served different. On the first day we ate it was later and the meat option was not refilled with alot if people still eating. One day while we were gone there was some miss communication on the privacy sign hanging on our door and our room was cleaned when we did not want it to be. They were very apologetic and it all worked out fine. It was nice to sit out at the pool. There was a gentleman smoking weed one day at the pool but that's not the hotels fault. We would stay here again. The complimentary shampoo and conditioner was great quality and left my hair feel great.

Old and needs an update

The hotel is dated and needs paint and mildew treatments. My first night I slept very poorly due to the smell of mildew and mold in my room. The room was relatively clean, but the tub needed washing before I could use it, and there were ants in the bathroom, which I killed and cleaned up. Only after talking about moving hotels did the room get thoroughly cleaned and the mildew smell improved. I won’t stay at Best Western again. The staff was friendly.
