Guests enter Green Whale by walking up the sidewalk, past the gorgeous magnolia tree in the front yard and into the front door. Once you enter the front door, you will find an open floor play layout between the living room & dining room areas. The dining room leads into the kitchen. From the living room, you can access the master bedroom, the stairwell to the home's second floor and a half bathroom with full sized washing machine & dryer. There's a door in the living room that takes you to the home's private, backyard patio area with an outdoor dining table & chairs. On the second floor of the home, you'll find the remaining two bedrooms and one full bathroom.

Green Whale is a family-friendly home tucked away in a very quiet residential neighborhood. Please be mindful of this residential character of the home during your stay.

Great location
Overall it was a great place to stay, close to historic Charleston, activities in Mount Pleasant and Sullivan’s island.Our only complaint was that the bathroom sinks didn’t get hot water even though the showers and kitchen sink did. Not a huge issue but annoying .We would definitely stay here again info we come to Charleston..

Wonderful house and location!! Accommodations were perfect for our family and made our stay exceptional. This house was centrally located for all our needs. We got to experience different beaches, restaurants, and shopping. We stayed for a vacation and Baseball tournament. Again, this house was located closely to the ballfield and beach area, with so many available stops in between! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Happy Houseguest!

This was a nice location, quiet neighborhood and had what we needed. The only complaint I have is the skylight directly above the master bed without any kind of blind or cover. In the summer it gets bright early and on vacation we want to sleep in or take a nap in the afternoon.

Great Stay
We loved this house, plenty of space for the whole family, pretty house and patio, and easy to get around to what we needed from there. Nice friendly neighborhood with a playground for the kids. Would love to stay here again. Only thing I could imagine being different is that the main area could use a little more lighting in the evening, though it's nice and bright during the day with the skylights. We had a great stay!

The Green Whale was exactly as billed and was in a nice, quiet neighborhood yet very close to historic downtown Charleston. The main floor master bedroom was cozy and comfortable and the upper two bedrooms and bath were great. The special welcome treat and note were much appreciated. We were there for our grandson’s graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School on the retired USS Yorktown at Patriot’s Point which was just down the road. We highly recommend this property for comfort, convenience and cordiality!

My family and 2 of our kids friends stayed in this nice home for 3 nights. Very cozy and clean in a quiet area. 10 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from downtown Charleston. Plenty of restaurant and entertainment options close by. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Pictures don't do the place justice. This place had good vibes, was comfortable. Ease of commute to Charleston and beach. Comfortable beds, pillows. Place was stocked with extra beach towels, etc. Decor was inviting. We will rent again!

Quiet neighborhood, convenient location
For the most part, we really enjoyed our stay at Green Whale. We were in Mount Pleasant for the Charleston Open, and the house was less than 15 minutes away from the stadium. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was pretty well-equipped for a VRBO, and the little patio area out back was a nice place to have a glass of wine (bonus - there was a bottle of red wine as a welcome gift!). The neighborhood is small, well-maintained, very quiet, and pleasant to walk around. The airconditioning was not working while we were there, but I understand that it was replaced after we left. The wi-fi worked erratically for some unknown reason, constantly dropping then reconnecting the internet, but we didn't need to work remotely while we were there, so it wasn't that big a deal.

Bridge Race rendezvous
My family and I visited Charleston for a short vacation to accompany the Cooper River Bridge race that I was running with a buddy who came down with his family (in a separate home). The layout and location were great. Excellent communication before and during stay. Clear directions for departure. Easy check in. Really appreciated having some Toys for the kids provided. The only comment I have is that there were no coffee filters for the coffee maker and the master bedroom had a skylight which shined right on the bed so we had to buy a sleep mask. There was lots of beautiful natural light during the day but it made it a bit hard to fall asleep as we like it pretty dark. Other than that small inconvenience we had a great time and I would stay here again.
