This is where I choose to stay when visiting Kalona. Great location, it is quiet, it is peaceful, and the rooms are spacious.

A clean, quaint Christian motel; a bit aged, but very well taken care of. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the bed & pillows were better than most high end hotels I’ve stayed in! Slept great! It was a great location as we had a family wedding in Iowa City with a reception in Riverside. We would stay there again!

Loved our stay. Friendly staff. Spotless rooms. Bible verse above our bed and in breakfast area was my favorite thing. Continental breakfast with authentic Amish baked cinnamon rolls.

There is Black Mold on the bathroom ceiling, the toilet seat and lid have to be up in order to close the door and it still rubs hard on the toilet. The room smelt very musty.

I had a king room on the first floor and it was huge! Loved having a table to work at and even a recliner. Very clean, air conditioning worked well, comfortable bed and pillows. Would definitely recommend.

This is an older property. Smells musty but everything is very clean. The cinnamon rolls are amazing.

Our room was in the newer section and was wonderful!! We were attending a family reunion and several had rooms in the older section and they were not so good - maybe consider some upgrades in that section.

An extraordinary and pleasant surprise. Kind lovely staff. I have rarely felt so comfortable anywhere. Pristinely clean room and other facilities. Lots of pillows. And a breakfast that featured a large tray of fresh baked delicious cinnamon rolls. I wish I could go back every weekend!!

Nice, clean, comfortable place to stay.

The only issues I had with this property were: 1) The shower head did not work properly. 2) The drain for the sink was missing a part so it wouldn't stay open.
