This is truly the perfect mountain getaway! Venture to the quaint town of Marble to discover unrivaled natural beauty in the heart of Colorado!
Find our ‘Hidden in Plain Sight’ mountain cabin tucked amidst 5 acres of its own aspen groves and mature ponderosa pines, just off the only paved road, right at the town limit of Marble. Get away with this fully-remodeled open-air floor plan, both inviting and comfortable with a cozy living room stocked with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, games, and books to enjoy; two bedrooms with plush queen beds; bathroom with shower, original sink and the best mountain views; and fully stocked modern chef’s kitchen including granite counter tops, large sink, full size fridge, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Who wants to stay inside with all the amazing views? The deck is almost as large as the house, with a gas grill and plenty of seating. Take a quick walk down our rock path to the beautiful fire pit. This getaway offers all the comforts of home away from home. Park all your vehicles in the large driveway and enjoy all the day trips Marble has to offer.
In the summer, hike to the nearby Yule Creek Falls, a little longer hike will get you up Raspberry Creek to look down on Marble or take a long trek thru Carbonate Creek for spectacular views. Directly from the house, you can mountain bike, ATV, or take a guided jeep tour to the historic town of Crystal and stop to take photos at the Crystal Mill on the edge of the Crystal River. Go just a bit further to visit the Devils Punchbowl or venture all the way to Crested Butte. Visit downtown Marble to eat at our only restaurant ‘Slow Groovin BBQ,’ stop for an afternoon at Beaver Lake for some fishing, paddle boarding, and boating [just remember your permit], or walk the paths at the Marble Mill Site park to go back in history to see the ruins of the old Marble Mill which includes giant blocks of white marble that were used to build the Lincoln Monument. After time at the Mill, stop by The Marble Gallery to view one-of-a-kind marble sculpture, wood carvings, ceramics, and jewelry! Did you know the Marble Gallery also carries some groceries, just in case you forgot a few items.
Want more touring options? Drive about 20 minutes to the town of Redstone stopping by Hayes Creek Falls on the way. You’ll find the famous General Store, shops, restaurants, free concerts in the summer and an ice-skating rink in the winter! A little further down Hwy 133 is Avalanche Ranch Hot Springs & Antiques or take a dip at the roadside Penny Hot Springs. For more fun, drive just over an hour to the luxurious mountain town of Aspen, where you'll find shops, restaurants, seasonal events and skiing.
