Ventura Captiva 2B ~ Island Time, is truly a one of a kind rental property on Captiva Island. With nearly 1500 sq ft of space, vaulted ceilings and the complex only consisting of 10 units, you have the feeling of a private home when you stay at this completely renovated rental home. Our vacation home-away-from-home is a three bedroom/three bathroom villa that has been updated from top to bottom. All high end appliances including a Sub Zero refrigerator, Bosch washer and dryer and nearly every kitchen item you can imagine. Beautiful dining table with seating for 6 as well as a breakfast bar in the kitchen for additional seating or to enjoy a morning coffee and catch up on the cold weather reports from your home up north! There's a very comfortable living area with plenty of seating for everyone and a large flat panel TV and screened lanai just off the living room to enjoy the tropical breeze that makes Captiva so special. The main level features the master bedroom with king sized bed, desk and en-suite bathroom. There is also a guest bedroom with two twin beds and full bathroom. Upstairs is a loft with seating and books to relax and enjoy the perfect read. We also have another guest bedroom with a king sized bed and full bathroom. The Ventura Captiva community consists of just 10 units with a heated pool, dock perfect for fishing or watching the birds, dolphins or manatees and the beach is just a couple minute walk away. As we're located in the Village area of Captiva you can easily rent a golf cart and get around to shops and restaurants. Please note that our community is a 2 week minimum stay.

Great property, yards from beach

Two minute walk to beach and next to (probably) the best restaurant on Captiva - The Green Flash. 5min walk to the ‘main’ part of Captiva. As for the island, the beach is great, with clear green waters. If you’re looking for stuff to do, then you’ll be better off somewhere else - this is definitely a kick back and relax place to go

More than lovely vacation spot

So many good things to say about this property. Very attractively furnished. Loved the artwork. Had a bit more than the essentials usually found in a rental. Steps from pool and beach. Dock in back used to get picked up by friends with boat. Master bedroom has extra space with a desk as well as comfy chair with ottoman. Plenty of hangers!!...usually never enough in rentals .. pleasant plus! Plenty of closet and drawer space. Easy walk to Andy Rosse Lane where there is a small and much improved grocery store and a number of popular restaurants. Green Flash 2 minute walk from property. Abundance of low beach chairs. Really.. we couldn't have asked for more. ....other than a longer stay!!!
