Summary:
Newly remodeled in 2021, the property was originally built in the 1950s by the army corps of engineers prior to the establishment of a coastal construction line. As a result, the building is the forward of the neighboring structures offering a stunning panoramic view of the oceanfront. Several of the launch pads at the space center are even visible from the second-floor deck. The private beach access is just ten steps from the back door.
The Space:
This newly renovated 2BR/1.5BA two-story townhouse is one of two at Canaveral Beachfront Villas, a 1.4-acre property located directly on the oceanfront with private beach access. The street has no public beach parking at its end, providing a quiet and peaceful surrounding for a beach getaway. This townhouse is decorated in a Seashell beach cottage décor with a glass-enclosed Florida Room on two sides. Walk out the back door, and you are less than ten steps from the private beach access.
An excellent choice for a relaxing vacation for families with children or a small group of friends. You’ll fall asleep listening to the ocean on pillowtop bedding with new linens and towels (as of July 2021). There is a king-size bed in the oceanfront master bedroom and a queen in the guest room, both located on the second floor of the townhouse. The full bathroom includes everything except your personal toiletries. The first-floor half bathroom has a washer and dryer. In addition, we provide beach towels, paper towels, toilet paper, All brand non-scented sensitive laundry soap, and dryer sheets. The main living space on the ground floor features a full kitchen outfitted with everything to cook.
Our outside areas include:
A deck off the king bedroom with a table for four guests.
A first-floor patio off the Florida Room.
A front patio area
There is an outdoor shower and wash area for you and your family to help keep the sand on the beach and a grill shared with the other townhouse.
Due to the recent changes in supplies of beach equipment, we have not been able to continue to supply these items safely or frequently. There are local companies we recommend renting from during your stay, and they deliver everything for you!
We have a NEW as of October 2024 Tesla Wall Charger for EV Vehicles. There is one for the property currently, and it will need to be shared responsibly with the other guests onsite. The wall charger is for guests staying at the property and not friends and family that are visiting.
There are two reserved parking spaces, high-speed wifi, and a cable with a smart TV in the living room to connect your Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+ account. There is also a wall-mounted TV in each bedroom.
Smoking or vaping in the townhouses around the property is NOT allowed.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the grounds, the private beach walk, the common outdoor areas.
The Neighborhood:
This property is at the end of the street, and we own the whole thing.
Getting Around:
Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach have some limited public transportation. A rental car, friends who drive, and Uber are available.
Other Things to Note:
We are a dog-only friendly property that can host up to 2 furry family members under 60lbs each. (Give or take a doggie pound here and there!)
Each dog will incur a pet fee that covers the additional cleaning needed after each renter pre-repair the house for the next visitors. Dogs must be fully vaccinated, medicated for fleas and ticks, house-trained, and well-behaved. Guests should be prepared to provide records of vaccinations and proper pest treatment. Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. Please ask if you have any questions or concerns about your family member!
Guests are required to keep sandy dogs out of the townhouses, and they will need to be leashed when outside to ensure the enjoyment of common areas. Guests will also need to pick up after their dogs and keep the dogs from constantly barking while the guest is or is not home. Also, it is the local law that dogs are not permitted on the beaches unless they are service dogs (there is a posted fee at the public beach entrances). So long as the beach patrols are going during lifeguard hours, you can be fed. Before or after those hours are when the locals walk with their pups. :)
Guests will be required to take all of their trash from their units to the bins on the south side of the buildings throughout their stay. Trash days are Tuesdays and Fridays, early in the morning. Please note that helping ensure the bins are on the side of the road ensures a safer and pest & bug-free environment.
Guests must notify the hosts if something is broken, not working, or on the way to breaking before the guest leaves the property not to be fined or reported for the damage.
Guests are not allowed to flush ANYTHING down the plumbing that is not the Provided (Charmin) toilet paper. This includes and is not limited to sanitation wipes (EVEN if listed on the packaging that they are safe to flush), G.I. Joe figurines, Hair Ties, Bows, Sand, Dog hair, or cooking grease. If the unit backs up the guest will be responsible for the repair costs.
Gusets are required to clean the grill after each use so that the next guests can enjoy it. That includes emptying the grease tray and replacing it with a new one from the storage area.
These rules might seem funny to read, but they have all happened and resulted in guests having a troubling stay. We aim to ensure that we can all have a fantastic vacation with their family and friends.
We thank you in advance :)
