First attempt the room key didn’t work, second attempt there was a water leak in the bathroom. We finally received a decent room on the third attempt. Bikes were a great perk and location was decent. There is construction going on onsite and hot tub was out of service.

It was average

It was an average place no frills but a good place to rest after a long trip. The one thing I would have hoped for is better AC unit though especially in the hot Calistoga weather.

The restaurant was closed in the morning because all of the chefs called in sick. The pool was smaller than expected, murky the first day and closed the second. The hot tub and steam room were also out of order. But the room was spacious and cute, and the spa was wonderful.

Unfortunately, we got food poisoning from an iced coffee we purchased from the bar. We had planned an anniversary getaway for the weekend and sadly spent out only night there in our hotel room sick. The property is gorgeous and staff are wonderful. I recommend them lowering their currently nightly rate as the whirlpool is being worked on and out of service. The bathrooms at the pool could’ve been cleaner. There was also no shower gel in our suite.
