Great location
Ended our Canadian Rockies vacation in Calgary for one night at Germain. Loved the modern vibe but noticed mold in the shower and the wood slat blinds did little to keep light out of the room. Location was A+ though!

Room and bathroom were spacious. The room furniture was outdated. Desk chair was old and unsteady. The carpet on floor was rough and old. Usually this type of carpeting is used in hallways or high traffic areas. It was pitch black so I can only imagine how dirty it was since I don’t believe they shampoo it between check ins. Disposable slippers should have been provided. Staff was great except for one female bartender in the restaurant who was rude. Hotel should invest in updating rooms. Valet parking was also on higher price side $50 per day and no near street parking available near by.

A very nice hotel, the lounge should open earlier than 4pm and the staff seemed bored. It wasn’t very busy which I understand but there was no buzz in the hotel at all

The room was large and comfortable but limited plug outlets - only on one side of the bed; No bottled water in the room unless you pay for it from the liquor cabinet; noisy alley through the night; but most disappointing, the staff appeared uninterested in being hospitable - had to pry information about the hotel from reception.
