Loved this resort and would definitely return. Two of the 6 of us did get sick overnight (probably from food), but did not detract from the place! Got a little tired of dealing with the solicitors going to the beach, but did buy from them. Overall a great experience for our family which included all 4 young adults.

Our concierge in club tower 2, John, was incredible. All the staff seemed to go above and beyond. The property is located on an amazing white sand beach. We loved our stay.

The Westin is a nice resort. The rooms were a bit weathered though. The food was good not great. They do try to keep the place clean. The pools. We stayed in the adult pool. Less crowded. Had a bar and restaurant right there. Plus we could easily access the Westin club lounge. The lounge is a nice break from everything else as it is enclosed and had AC. You also got top end liquor and upgraded snacks The beach was nice but you had to get through excursion hawks etc to enjoy it. The view on the beach is nice as it’s dotted with small islands.

Although quite nice, this is not a 5 star property. Period. The staff were wonderful and helpful and you couldn't expect more from them. The food, although attractively presented was bland and I don't understand why. Most of the dishes we had should have been very flavorful prepared in any way but were not. The activities were numerous and very nice. The pool was wonderful and constantly maintained for leaves and other debris, as were the surrounding areas. Our room was a junior suite with the oddest layout. The only place you could see the TV was from the bed! Don't expect to sit on the sofa with a cup of coffee in the morning and catch up on the news. The shower had soap scum buildup where the glass wall met the floor. This was disgusting. Yes, a strong word but appropriate here. The AC unit was not adjustable. There was an adjustment on the fan speed from jet engine to industrial shop fan, but nothing for the thermostat other than off. When it was running you couldn't hear the TV. Bottom line: it is attention to the details that make a 5 star resort and this one doesn't have it. We will not return.
