Luxury Hill Country Estate - Sleeps 20

Our Luxury Hill Country Estate is located on 20 acres of hill country lol no. This estate has a private gated entrance, private pool. The estate is a mediterranean style home, with the exterior comprised of stucco and Spanish tile roofing. The estate is made up of a main house, pool house and a studio apartment.

The estate boasts a main house with a 3 bedroom and two and a half bathroom. This main house can accommodate 8 guest. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a private 5 piece bathroom with a luxurious closet. The guest room host a full size bed and the last bedroom has two full size beds. These two rooms, share a hallway bathroom. In addition, the main house has a gourmet kitchen, living and dinning room.

The pool house is a two bedroom and two bathroom property. It also contains a full size kitchen, living area and breakfast area. The master bedroom has a 3 piece private bathroom with a king size suite. The second bedroom contain two full size bedroom sets and has an entrance to a 3 piece bathroom. The pool house, also contains a poker table.

For outside entertaining, both the main and pool house have covered patios with sitting and dinning areas. Each outdoor entertaining space has easy access and visibility to the stunning pool. The main house outdoor entertaining area contains a fire place, outdoor television and a gas grill. The pool house outdoor entertaining area boasts a sitting and dinning area, along with a private cafe table. WiFi is available on property in certain areas. We do recommend bringing your own hot spot or mofis.

For extra large parties, the studio apartment is available and 6 additional twin roll out beds. The studio apartment is equipped with a king bedroom set and a private 3 piece bathroom.

The pool and spa area, are as gorgeous as they come, but if swimming is not your thing, we do have a chip and putt golf course available, on property.

The Luxury Hill Country Estate is nestled near 4 wedding venue, all within a 5 minute drive from the estate. The estate is located approximately 20 minutes from Austin, San Marcos, Wimberley and Dripping Springs. The luxury estate is approximately 45 minutes from downtown San Antonio.

Access to all the amenities are available to all traveler party sizes. The twin roll away beds, are available for parties greater than 16. We do store these beds on site, for your use and setup. Although the estate has three properties, on site, we only book the estate to one group of travelers at a time. In addition, we do not mind bbq, pre or post wedding gatherings at the hill country estate and with prior approval. Please keep in mind, this is a vacation rental and not an event center. We can help set up for private chef or other concierge services if needed please ask the host.

The Luxury Hill Country Estate is fully equipped for your travel needs. All the cooking and eating utensils are available. We provide the coffee, bathing towels, swimming towels, all bedding. The estate is set up for you to arrive, unpack and enjoy!!!

No Hot Water

The property is beautiful and well located. However, out of the three dwellings that are on the property, while we were there two did not have propane. Which meant no hot water in 2 of the 3 dwellings on the property and that all of the guests had to use 2 bathrooms to shower and get ready for the weekend. We chose this property because it was located close to our wedding venue but when we arrived and realized there was no hot water we called the property owner to make them aware ASAP there was an issue with the propane on the property and to inquire as to when someone would get out there to service the tanks. But no one came and we spent the duration of our stay sharing the two bathrooms that had hot water. We kept in contact with the owner during the stay but nothing was ever fixed. We also brought to the owner’s attention that the spa was not heating up, which we were told would be fixed the next day but was never addressed. Once the stay was over I had another conversation with the property owner about the propane issue. I was told I would get a partial refund and everything would be taken care of. The refund was 3% of the cost of the stay and totaled $150. We paid good money to stay at this location but we didn’t get what we paid for and the partial refund was a joke. Had we known about this problem before I we would have stayed somewhere else. Taking cold showers on your wedding day was not the memorable experience I had anticipated.

Best experience ever!!!!!!

I just want to say how amazing Jennifer was and answered all the questions I had at a timely manner. And was super understanding when I had to change my dates to a later time and was super helpful. I had a amazing time even though it was just me staying at this huge place I still had a great time and the pool was absolutely breath taking and the main house and two guest houses was exquisite and more than I could ask for!!!!! Will definitely be back and Jennifer if you ever decide to rent it out for living purposes please let me know 🤣🤣

Lovely set up.

Everyone has space to gather and space to be apart. Ideal for many situations. Other reviews commented on dishwasher and it does need to be replaced. Teflon pans need to be replaced too. But overall, very good experience.

Overall a very nice place with plenty of options for folks for places to sleep

The largest downside was that we booked largely based upon it having a pool and a spa. Sadly, the spa never got warm. We followed the instructions and even communicated with the property agent but it never was fixed or addressed. We did communicate with the property agent about the locks not working and someone was promptly sent to fix that issue. Overall, there were plenty of places to sleep and the pool and outdoor areas were fantastic. If the spa issue is fixed, we would love to use this property again in the future.

Beautiful property, lacking for the price

Though the property itself is beautiful and spacious, for the price, we would expect that things functioned properly like the hot tub which was completely unable to heat, the dishwasher that made things dirtier than when they went in, and lack of hot water to wash dishes properly in the kitchen. The TV had no channels/reception as an earlier reviewer pointed out in December, and unlike lesser properties, there were zero nice touches like dishwasher detergent, paper towels, tissues, or coffee. For over $1000/night, it would be nice to find trash bags or even something really nice like some bottled water in the fridge or rafts for the pool. It was advertised that there were additional cots/beds, but some were broken leaving two people without a bed. The location was very close to Chapel Dulcinea and Salt Lick, so it worked great for our small wedding weekend (ceremony and reception were at the Chapel, but family stayed here). There were plenty of places for folks to gather outdoors and indoors in small groups which was nice, and the kitchen and table were large enough for 10-12 folks inside with another 6+ outside. Overall however, we were all collectively simply disappointed with the amenities or lack there of. With a little effort, this property could be a dream come true.

Wedding Weekend

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay with our families as everybody was traveling from out of town for our wedding. This exquisite location offered all the amenities and conforts of home. There aren't any words to do this place justice. 5 stars through and through. Our wedding couldn't have been any more perfect, as the Bride and her bridesmaids used the main house, while myself(Groom) and the groomsmen used the pool house for our "morning of" preparations.

To Die For!

The home was absolutely stunning! Every spacious and comfortably slept all 20 of us! We had a birthday stay cation here. Jennifer was so responsive and always answered all my questions. Definitely would book again. Only thing is at night it’s a little scary on 20 acres but the more people the merrier!

Very Poorly Maintained Property

1. 2 of the 3 Buildings had no heat & hot water when we checked in. It took the property manager 1 day and a half to fix. They ran out of propane gas and it was not checked prior to check in. The 2 buildings (pool house & main house) had a musty / moldy smell when we checked in becuase there was no heat 2. There was also a faulty sensor in one of the buildings which prevented the heat from kicking on even after the gas was topped up 3. All 18 of us had to huddle in 1 house the first night 4. Most of the entrance doors could not be locked. Safety is a big concern even though the owner downplayed this. The maintenance guy Danny who came to check out the locks said the whole system needs to be changed. This issue is not disclosed in the rental 5. The wifi only works in the pool house and not in the main house or the outhouse 6. Most of the TVS do not work 7. None of the firplaces inside the house can be used and we were told not to use after we checked in 5. No instructions on anything 6. The Dishwasher in the main house was so dirty the dishes come out dirtier than when they went in. The owner sent a cleaning lady who said the dishwasher needs to be changed. She also told us she only cleans the diswahser in the pool house and the out house 7. The volleyball net and most of the other equipment meant for entertainment were all broken or in various states of disrepair. 8. If you want to pay $1000 and spend most of the time doing activities outside of the property this is a great place to rent. 9. The owner of the property offered to take 1 night off when we had the heat issues and then at the time of check out denied having said that.

Perfect for Pre-Wedding Celebration Dinner

The property fit our needs well. This was our second time to use the property, but the first time to use the renovated dining room. We had 24 people in the dining room and could have fit more if we needed to. It has a solid wall that we used with a projector to display a short video of the future bride and groom’s past. A perfect evening! A note for future renters, the external doors do not lock. This is okay for adults, but if you have roving toddlers you will want to secure or block the doors. The pool is not gated.

Great House

Lovely house and met our needs perfectly. We were with 4 couples, some with kids and we loved the pool and porch areas. Very clean. Host responsive. 2/3 TVs did not work and the host was not very responsive to that issue but when the hottub didn't work, she sent someone out who fixed it next day.

Very clean elegant home with beautiful pool. We had a great Family Reunion.

The estate was just what we needed. Spacious, beautiful and very clean. The entire family of 20 enjoyed the pool. The children didn’t want to leave. We had a great Family Reunion Celebration.
