very secluded, nice get away
a nice fall getaway, it was a little further from things than we would have liked but the seclusion was nice as well. we had a nice time, Bryson City is a wonderful town with warm people and good mom and pop restaurants. The cabin was in need of a few updates and repairs, could have used more comfy furniture on the porch/outside seating

Cabin in the Woods
Very cute cabin in the woods- we had plenty to do if we just stayed at the cabin (hot tub- games) but were able to visit a couple places as day trips as well. Went to Cherokee for shopping (the Bamboo forest in the Oconoluftee park was neat) The great Smokey mountain national park is nearby. Nantahala Outdoor Center is also close enough for a day trip. We were there visiting some family so it was a good location for us- very peaceful.

Beautiful, amenities as advertised. A few suggestions/ concerns but over all we enjoyed our stay! I didn’t stay or use the downstairs because of the overwhelming mold smell- it was clean, but I’m a nurse and didn’t want to breathe that in. No garbage bins to follow the checkout instructions- we just took the trash with us… lids were there but not cans? Do not arrive in the dark- owners should put some solar lights to guide you in, can’t see where to go- I got out in the dark to guide the driver in w my cell phone… I would say all wheel drive and 4x4 in the winter to be safe… Beautiful location, serene and private!

Awesome Location -close to everything
This place was wonderful, location was perfect for day trips (1.5 hours from Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and 1.5 hours from Asheville) House was nice and beds comfortable. Kitchen was stocked well with the basic items you need. Bathroom has a hairdryer and great water pressure. Internet was very limited, but having teenagers I was happy, made them participate in family time 😂.... Board games, books, wandering outside and air hockey kept them entertained while at the cabin.... There is an Xbox with games provided. GPS directions were on point until you arrive, it says you are there while on the drive up.... Look for the 3 mailboxes on the right after GPS says you are there and then turn left into what looks like a driveway follow that up and at fork go right. Road up is a bit bumpy, not horrible and once up the driveway it does have a sharp turn, we just pulled all the way up and backed in, just take time pulling back out. Overall awesome place, highly recommend -kids had a great time

Great weekend
Thanks for sharing your little peace of heaven with us! Best Mountain View we have ever seen! Wish we had a little longer to stay. The rain kind of stopped us. We did explore a little Saturday evening and found the waterfall next to the house!

We stayed here as a last minute trip and loved every minute of it. It was tucked away and had plenty of peace and quiet which is what we were looking for. I highly recommend for anyone looking to relax in the wilderness and not be disturbed.

Great stay
Awesome house. Was farther than i thought to town, but might have been my fault. Couldn't get upstairs ac working one night, but just opened the windows (during a hot spell) and we were fine. Very secluded, but other house weren't too far away. Oh yeah, not great phone service (as expected), but satellite worked great on the tvs(big plus) also there is a creek that the kids can mess around with and a great watering hole that someone created before the pavement meets the gravel road leading to the house

Good layout but disappointing
The tone was set poorly after making the reservation as I called about an agreement we had to sign after making the reservation. A renter should be able to see these rules prior to renting. They were rules such as no children under 18 in the hot tub, if you get a makeup stain a white towel you have to pay for a new one. I am a very clean and meticulous person, but here were SO many rules, and some were ridiculous (in my opinion). Upon speaking with him, I asked about this charge discount showing $10/person. He stated that often times two families come and split the cost, so he charges a $10 per person per night fee over 4 guests, even though it is advertised to sleep 8 or 10. This was not advertised anywhere in the listing. If we had cancelled, we would not have gotten refunded any money, or we would have. Once there, the cabin itsself was layed out well with amazing views. *If you’re staying here you absolutely need 4WD. It was terrifying at best getting up to the cabin and getting down. There is a super steep & narrow gravel drive and sharp turn required to get into the driveway at the top. Too much over correcting or sliding and you’re going off a cliff. But, knce you’re up there, it’s beautiful. Last, the cleanliness was terrible. The pullout couch mattress had stains, hair and food in it. There were huge dust balls around and under the beds and living room furniture. It was a good location and layout, but because of the above, I would not stay here again.

TOO MUCH $$ for this type of cabin
Many inside unsafe spots for kids (bathrooms old school electric heaters, gas heaters around rooms). Cabin doesn’t have central HVAC SYSTEM. Basement was too cold and gas units heaters are too dangerous when it’s ON (that can seriously burn someone if not pay attention). Upstairs Stove fireplace can NOT be used to warming up the cabin or enjoy, it is just a piece of furniture. JACUZZI TUB outside was not working at all for the entire staying. No firewood for the fire pit and nowhere close by to buy it. Outside gas heater was a piece of junk and dangerously falling apart. AGAIN, NOT RECOMMENDED THIS CABIN AT ALL FOR THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY $$$ VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Very Nice House
The house was wonderful! Very clean. The only thing is initialed was the steps & floor needed to have been swept better and some of the fixtures had some spider webs but this could be due to the very remote mountainous locatio.n. We never really used the basement except for lsundryjust stayed upstairs. The bathroom upstairs was wonderful, updated & clean . The beds were very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was decently stocked. The hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus . Most wonderful was the lovely view from the top deck.

This cabin was a dream! So well kept and it was well stocked with comfort amenities. We loved how spacious it was and the kids didn’t want to leave. The steep drive up was a bit scary at first but we got used to it. The location was secluded and private which was nice, and the mountain air & Mountain View’s were incredible!

Adorable cabin !
My children and I enjoyed a short weekend visit to the area and was able to find this cabin on short notice. It was perfect for the 4 of us. The cabin was very clean and had comfy beds. I enjoyed my cup of coffee sitting on the front porch looking at the beautiful views. We enjoyed a couple of games of air hockey downstairs. The owner was extremely friendly and very responsive. I would recommend to anyone !

Oh and the hosts are so accommodating and helpful with all of the great things to do in the area. It really was perfect.
