A private road leads to a secluded cabin in the Alarka area near Bryson City. This cabin has a hot tub and fire pit. A Weber grill is on the deck for making dinner on premises or you can cook in the kitchen inside the cabin. It is a loft cabin with a queen bed upstairs and a bunk bed with two twins down below. The cabin has a kitchen with the essentials.

The loft has a queen bed and is very relaxing. Underneath the wooden staircase is a bunk bed. The porch is relaxing and just steps to the hot tub. We enjoy interacting with our guests. We want to provide a great value more than anything. We work with some great Bryson City locals to ensure the cabin is clean. By renting this cabin you are helping the local community that is such a hidden gem.
The cabin is secluded and offers the ability to completely unplug. It is only a fifteen minute drive into Bryson City. It is also a short drive to Franklin. We have enjoyed the trains in Bryson City and the Cataloochie ski area near Maggie Valley.
Generally this cabin does not require four wheel drive. It has paved access and the common road is taken care of by the HOA in the winter. The cabin is just right off of a highway.

WILDLIFE AND INSECTS - Please be aware that this region is home to a variety of wildlife, including bears, large cats, and common seasonal insects like stink bugs and lady bugs. While encounters with large wildlife are rare, it's important to remain cautious, especially when outdoors—never leave food or trash unattended, and always secure doors and windows.
During the fall and winter months, lady bugs can become particularly prevalent. Despite our use of professional pest control services, their persistence and the many access points around the property can still result in noticeable activity indoors. This is a widespread and normal occurrence in this part of the country. Stink bugs may also appear seasonally, though they are generally harmless.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping both guests and local wildlife safe.
WELL WATER - Please note that this property uses well water, not city water. Because of this, water usage must be limited.
Avoid running hoses or using large amounts of water for extended periods, as this can risk running the well dry—a situation that is costly to resolve. Guests may be held responsible for any damage or expenses caused by excessive water use.
We appreciate your help in conserving this valuable resource.
FIREWOOD - We do our best to provide firewood for your use. However, please note that the wood may sometimes be damp or difficult to ignite. We recommend bringing your own kindling or fire starters to help get your fire going more easily.
Please also be aware that county burn bans may be in effect during certain times of the year. It is your responsibility to check current restrictions and comply with all local fire safety regulations.
