Polar Express Getaway!

Riverbend Lodge in Bryson City was the perfect lodging for us with small grandchildren. It was super clean, great layout with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. No stairs to worry about (a plus with small children). The house was warm, the beds comfortable, the kitchen was spacious. I highly recommend Riverbend Lodge!

Just like the pictures

The cabin was exactly as pictured and very clean. Lots of space to move around and the master bedroom was huge. It was very close to downtown and the grocery store. Deck was amazing and the view was great. Only issue was that we stayed for 8 nights and were given only 1 laundry pod, 1 dishwasher pod, 1 roll of paper towels, so be sure to bring your own if you're staying for more than a few nights!

Awesome property. Interior nicely decorated. Lots of pots, pans, utensils in kitchen. Nice deck although view of river obscured by trees. For those who want to avoid wall to wall people, Bryson City is small, not too crowded. Between Bryson City and surrounding area, plenty to do. Property manager was awesome. The only complaint is nearby dogs barking. Sort of a rural area and sound carries a long way. One dog like to bark a lot and apparently owner was deaf.

Beautiful surroundings

The house was beautiful. We had everything we needed. My sisters and i enjoyed the hot tub every night while the husband's enjoyed the firepit. The road up was very bumpy but worth the drive.

Convenient and nice

We enjoyed our stay at Riverbend. The driveway up was a little questionable but the home itself was really nice and well stocked. Overall cleanliness was good, im a little OCD and there were multiple things that needed dusting and a more thorough clean. Beds were extremely firm. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and the amenities that staying in a home had to offer. Overall the home was nice and we enjoyed the convenience, everything was super close.

Perfect river view close to downtown Bryson City.

We have stayed within a 100 mile radius to Bryson City on 4 occasions within the last year. This particular VRBO was by far our favorite due to location, rental management and most importantly cleanliness. This cabin offers plenty of space and an open area to enjoy a quiet get away or your friends and family being well like mine…fun and crazy. Good view of river from deck, but the best of all was s’mores at the fire pit and spookie stories. Thanks for helping us make good memories.

The house was wonderful and the views were incredible!

The property was close to downtown and lots of close area attractions. We had everything we needed at the house and it was very relaxing. The only difficult part was getting up the driveway.

Great stay with Family

This cabin was beautiful and very clean. We had An amazing time. The only down side is the location. There’s farms around the property with cows and chickens and dogs. And there was no stair way from the deck to the fore place. Other then that we had a great time and loved the cabin!

Perfect Family Mountain Getaway

We loved this home. All the finishing are gorgeous, exactly what I would choose for my own home. Our family really enjoyed playing chess/checkers, relaxing in the hot tub and making s’mores in the fire pit. It was so relaxing to sit on the porch and read while listening to the River. Our only recommendation would be some steps leading down to the swing/yard/fire pit area.

Beautiful property & view

Overall the property was amazing - the view was incredible, the house itself was beautiful, and the hot tub was a huge bonus. However, make sure you have the proper vehicle! We had two with us. the 4Runner made it up okay but our VW SUV that is FWD got stuck twice. Once it needed to be towed, the second time we had to push it to get it loose. The road to get to the house is very steep and has a curve, plus it is gravel. We would absolutely come back.. just make sure you have the right type of vehicle!
