Checking in was a breeze. The room was subpar. I should have informed the front desk but I didn’t notice some uncleanliness until after the first night. There were hair clumps on the carpet floor and hair on the shower walls, which was not ours. The shower had good water flow for cold water but for the hot water the water pressure was very low. The coffee lids provided had dust on them. The room we had was next to the pool so we had a very strong chlorine smell in our room. Their Starbucks cafe stops serving at 9:30 am. At checkout, I had some concerns about the total charges. When I asked the staff, she responded “I can charge you more if you want”. I think she was trying to make a joke but it was not the right time. I was concerned that I was being overcharged (which I later confirmed I was not overcharged). She also took about 3 steps back, behaving as if me asking a question was threatening? I did book the hotel last minute during the holidays so I’m thankful that there were rooms available. But I wouldn’t book a room here again, not for the price I paid. The positives: They are pet friendly, flat fee of $50. And the noise level was minimal.

The only reason im not giving a 5 star is because this is the 4th time we stay here. Never have had a “parking fee charge” up until this last stay. Its something that was never even mentioned which reception during check in and out was usually pretty good about mentioning small things like that. I dont think we should be getting charged to park our own vehicle while we are staying there. Other than that. Staff is friendly and rooms are always very clean.
