Reserved a king room. Arrived at 4:00 for check in. Was told that they overbooked my room and would get a two queen room. This was a special night for my wife and me so we were not happy. Person at counter obviously could care less that they didn’t have the room. Didn’t offer anything to make it right. In fact i think i was charged the higher king room rate.
Both my confirmation email and the website said 3pm check in but upon arrivak at 3pm we were told it was 4pm and we'd have to wait for our room. Housekeeping also entered our room at 8am when checkout it 12pm.
Check-in staff were friendly and accommodating. The lobby was comfy and had several spaces that accommodated many individuals. Everything was very clean. I was attending a conference at a nearby hotel that was pricier and during hot summer days the other hotel was too warm. At the Hilton the entire hotel remained cool and there was access to nearby restaurants.
