I am extremely disappointed with my stay and feel compelled to share my concerns. My primary issue is how the resort relentlessly charges guests for every minor detail. This establishment epitomizes price gouging. Not only is the nightly rate high for a 3 star property, but there is also a daily resort fee of $45.00, along with an overnight parking fee of $35.00 ($25.00 for self-parking, which is simply unreasonable when hauling luggage in frigid weather). The valet requested my cell number upon arrival, indicating it was for convenience in vehicle retrieval. Instead, it was used to send unsolicited tip requests, even after I had already tipped ($5.00 each time).
A standard cup of coffee in a paper cup costing $7.00 is unacceptable! The average price for an adult beverage is $20.00 plus a tip, and the food prices at the restaurant are outrageous.
Furthermore, I experienced an unsettling incident at 10:15 p.m. when hotel security knocked on my door due to a supposed noise complaint. I was stunned; there was no noise coming from our room. We had come to attend a memorial and were exhausted by the end of the day. We were lying in bed, and even the TV was at a low volume. When I explained this to security and invited him to check our room, he responded with an unacceptable attitude, stating, “The walls are thin!"
The online photos of the room were misleading and did not reflect the actual room I reserved. Apart from a duvet, there were no bedspreads or blankets provided. We w
