Great summer getaway house
We spent the week in Breckenridge with our two adult children. The house was just the right size for us and had great proximity to hiking trails and to downtown as well. We’d definitely stay there again.

Perfect home base for family vacation.
This property was perfect for our three-generation family vacation. There was ample room for everyone. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the equipment we needed for cooking meals at home. Location next to the Cucumber Gulch Wildlife Preserve was convenient for hiking near the property. We even had a visit from a moose and her two calves one morning!

Nice House
This house was great for my friends and I. It was 5 min walk to the gold bus route which made traveling to the ski lifts easy. Everything in the house worked as it should.

Nice Unit...if the heat worked
The house would have been nice if the heater worked...you can tell it has been used and abused. When we arrived, the heater was set to 70 degrees and it was 47 degrees inside. There were broken lamps, dirt swept under the rug (a lot of it), and broken doors to the laundry area. The solution for the heater....space heaters for each room, which then caused the breakers to flip. Downstairs fireplace did not work, the living room floor had a spot that felt like we were going to fall through, and the stair railing came off the wall when gently pulled. Overall, very close to the slopes and town. The house has a nice layout, it just needs to be maintained.

Poor management response
Great accommodations as described. However, we had an alarm go off at 4:45 AM and called property management who said we would receive a call back with the code and we never heard from them for 12 hours. One of the guests eventually found a crumbled up piece of paper in the garage closet with the code so after two hours of an alarm, we took care of it ourselves but the whole group was sleep deprived and lost a day of vacation because of it .

Great Location / Need Attention to Details
First off, the home and location are amazing. Close to bus stop for skiing and downtown. Worked great for 8 (2 families). Rating was lower because: 1) request for wifi not working and was never addressed (tried to help and passed it along, but during a 4 night stay it was never made available). 2) bed in master bedroom upstairs was broken (at a slant and each side different heights) was reported the morning after our first night. They said would get someone out, and never heard back or addressed for us. 3) Pets are allowed, but expected the living room floors and couches / chairs to be vacuumed to clean pet hair off. Was very visible / present and stuck to clothes. Again, the property itself is great, but need attention to details to make stays more hassle free. I’ve never given a rating less than 5, but feel wifi and bedding is key for a stay. Also, there was no book with recommended restaurants, recommendations for things to do, and wifi password, house rules akd checkout procedures. We had to text the night before we were leaving to see what we needed to do before leaving, and then it was provided. Hopefully they address concerns for future visits.

Truly the strangest VRBO experience
This property is gorgeous. It's in a great neighborhood and adjacent to open space and the ski area. It's relatively easy to get to town and the property amenities were excellent. The service provided by Vacasa, the property manager, however, was another story. When we arrived, the property had not been cleaned, so they had to relocate us for one night TO COPPER MOUNTAIN, which is not close by nor pleasant in the summer. Further, throughout the first week of our stay, the hot tub broke down daily and I made no fewer than 8 phone calls to have it fixed. Eventually that was corrected, and then someone dropped by to "fix" the dryer. We didn't know it was malfunctioning and had not called in this repair. In the course of fixing the dryer, the repairman broke it so it was unuseable. This was during our second week of staying in the property and it was raining, so we actually needed the dryer at this point. As I said above, this property is very nice, but I certainly plan to avoid renting any properties managed by Vacasa. They were super incompetent.

Great home for a large family getaway
We stayed here for our annual family ski vacation and this home was wonderful. It was large enough to accommodate all 3 generations comfortably and it had all the spaces and amenities we could ask for. It is a short walk to the black line bus stop and there was an on call shuttle that was great for going to town. I do wish they had a little more parking as we had 3 cars and had to park one at a different location but all in all it was fantastic.

Perfect amount of beds for my family and had an amazing location.
There was a bee hive in the hot tub which was really annoying and the hot tub was locked shut and we had to "break it" to get it open. Other than that our stay was amazing

Great for a Group
We had a great time. The shuttle service was amazing. It was the right amount of space for our group of 10. I will say, it wasn't quite as nice as the pictures. However, we had a blast and the place was awesome.

Good location
The location is convenient to Peak 8. There is a short walk to the bus stop. We did have issues with the hot and cold water and the heat in certain rooms. The floor heat system causes the basement to get hot at night as well as the upstairs bedroom. Midway through our stay we noticed a leak coming from the vent in the basement bathroom. The PM company came and indicated they could not fix it right away so they were coming the day we left to figure out where the leak was coming from. It was dripping from the ceiling vent into the toilet and onto the bathroom floor. Overall the place is conveniently located, but there are things I would expect to be better for the price.

Great place. Make sure you take advantage of the free on call shuttle. The only recommendations I have is to fix the downstairs fireplace, and replace the tv (it has a blown speaker that sounds really bad).
