This is the mass market hotel option. It’s like a subway station in the lobby tons of people and long lines. Check in wait as 30 minutes. Elevators wait was 10-15 min. Staff is clearly tired. It is fine for a bed and great location. Impersonal efficient lobby.

$500 per night - it’s ok this the season but there was no complimentary water in room. HVAC not completely function. Finally turned it off to try lower temp in room. $5 service fee to store my bag for a few hours. Missing many things that used to be standard. The grab and go market was great. No price gouging and staff friendly. Furniture in room very shop worn. Desk chair should be replaced.

The overall stay was nice. We got there about an hour before check in and we were told if we wanted to get in our room at that time we would have to pay an additional $100 or come back in an hour. It’s ridiculous to charge $100 for a room that was already cleaned and ready for the next guests. The hotel rate was expensive enough as it is. It’s ridiculous to charge guests an additional $100 for an hour!

Check in was horrible. Only one desk clerk. Caused a line out the door. Ridiculous. Manager and other staff just kept walking around. Finally after customers vocally started complaining, they finally opened up two more stations. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times. I’ve never experienced this. Very disappointed.

Two of the three elevators to the 28th floor were broken, stranding us in the lobby or on the 28th floor anytime we wanted to leave. One time we waited almost 30 minutes. The halls had dirty sheets and garbage left in them. The prices in the deli were exorbitant. The rooms lacked basic amenities like a coffee maker or Wi-Fi. There was little to no seating in the lobby.

I stood in line with about 50 other people just to check in. I counted 7 desks with only two working and each of them in and out over and over. I can’t even believe how terrible their efficiency and customer service was even before I got a room! Plus, the room was mediocre at best, especially for a Hilton. I come to NY often for business but won’t stay here again.

Room looks poorly. Walking from the lift to room is dark and feels like walking in a hunted house. Lift are out of service often or do not work properly. For the price I paid for the room I feel that it was not worth the money.

My trip great! Hotel a little disappointing. The room is really dated. The chair looked old dirty and worn. The headboards on both beds fabric flaking off. The elevator area so congested people got upset and rude. The lobby staff excellent and patient. Great location.

I’m a Hilton Honors member & have stayed here many times. This is the first time that I couldn’t check in early unless I paid$100! Also, breakfast was always included in the price & I was told I had to be a gold member to get complimentary breakfast!! Won’t return. Very disappointed
