The place is very bare bones. The carpets and drapes are so old plus whatever cleaning supplies they use and the rooms stink. They’re reasonably clean where it’s important but the business is tough to handle. The pool is great snd the reason to stay there, but also a bare bones operation. The breakfast runs out an hour before the end so that's a bit ridiculous too, especially when the proprietor told me that at is he had no power over it. Very odd. If you know that be sure to make more.

Couldn't understand the staff. The refrigerator and hair dryer didn't work. The room had a weird odor. The wall unit for air conditioning and heat made a weird noise. The people next to us were slamming doors. The outside of the place looked old and run down. The location was sketchy. Homeless people standing on the street begging for money. We would never stay there again.Mostly fast food places to eat by the Motel. I uninstalled your app. We were very disappointed.

The room we were given was terrible. From the moment we opened the door, we were met buy a strong urine smell. Following that, we clearly observed that the mattresses on both beds were extremely lumpy and thin. We have never done this before, but we decided immediately that we should not stay there. We went back to the office, explained the problems, returned the room keys, and left. If other rooms are like this, it does not deserve any more than one star. Maybe none.

The place had a lot of room and the soap in the shower and bathtub was nice. It's just that the TV kept going out. I think the HDMI box got too hot maybe. Couldn't watch the baseball game.

The door on my 92 year old mother’s room was barely functioning, the entire latch area was damaged and you had to use a great amount of effort and force to open or close it. The noise of footsteps or whatever above my room was loud, as was the constant coughing of a neighboring guest. I think there are rooms that house people long term. The rooms had a shabby worn feel. Will not stay there again but I acknowledge that you get what you pay for, and the price was low compared to other options.

Over priced for what you get
If you’re planning a trip to Brattleboro, review what you’re getting for the cost. The pool isn’t owned by the motel and has unusual hours with a check in process that is very uncomfortable. The carpet in our room wasn’t vacuumed, the hair products were cheap hand soaps (in a brand-name- refillable containers) there wasn’t a “spa”, and the mattresses were very uncomfortable. For the price, we could have stayed up the street at a much better place. Also, there isn’t any taxi or Uber service in the area so plan accordingly.

Look elsewhere. I stay in Brattleboro regularly and figured I'd try this motel. Not again. Quality of Standard Room is bad. Photos are not true. Stained carpets. Mold & cigarette burns on bathroom chair. Dimly lit bathroom. Junk furniture with old screw holes on desk & table tops. Spilled milk in mini fridge. Questionable quality of fluorescent orange shampoo, conditioner, soap. Junky chairs outside door for smokers. Desk attendant was nice. Breakfast & coffee were ok. Separate booking for 3rd night in larger colonial room was fine and should smaller standard room should have been held to same quality with difference being just size.

I wholeheartedly do NOT recommend this motel
I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but I’m going to in this instance because I based my decision to book here on the reviews I read, which were terribly misleading This property is old, it hasn’t been updated in forever, and you can’t just stick the word spa in your title and expect it to improve the situation My room smelled bad and was FREEZING and when I turned the heating unit on the room filled with the smell of urine. I had to sleep in sweats and a sweatshirt and I was still very cold. Everything is shabby, of poor quality and questionable cleanliness The photos of the room I booked looked nothing like what I was was checked into. I own a lodging establishment and bust my butt to provide guests a quality experience. These folks should try doing the same instead of misleading the public

The room was very tired and needs to be renovated ie redecorated with new furniture and furnishings. The bathroom also needs to be ripped out and redone. The standard of cleaning was poor. The lighting in the room was poor. I had to use a torch to read in bed. I would not stay here again. The only pluses were it was convenient for leaf peeping and felt reasonably safe.
