Beautiful place with setbacks
I hate to leave negative reviews at all but i wish i had been aware of some things. When we arrived inside smelt like a cat had sprayed. The main heating source was out of commission. The mini split in the bedroom would not work properly. We tinkered with it for quite some time and still coult not get it to work properly. There was animal fur all over the comforter, sheets, and pullow cases. My husband is allergic to dog and cat fur so this was a problem for us. We tried to contact the host with no response. Though the home is unique and cute with pretty views we were dissapointed.

Dome House
Beautiful house with lots of charm….. gorgeous views from the deck. I was texted when we arrived to make sure we were happy with the cleanliness of the home and we were . House was supplied with plenty of towels, blankets, toiletries, cushions for outdoor furniture and games. We stayed here with our dogs who loved it as well. We would stay here again

Sweet and quiet stay
The property was lovely. At the end of a quiet road, overlooking the water, the dome house was a lovely. It was an excellent home base to enjoy booth bay. Also being minutes from the botanical garden was awesome, we ended up going twice.

Nice quiet house
The house was very clean and quiet at the end of a dirt road. It overlooked a tidal inlet off of the river. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the water. The house was close to town, groceries etc. There were neighbors across the inlet but they were quiet. The beds were comfortable. I would enjoy staying there again.

Excellent little place!
Property was outstanding, clean , well equipped a great find. Only little feedback would be that older renters would appreciate access to “normal” TV

Beautiful Secluded Cabin Close To Boothbay Harbor
Beautiful cabin in great location! Overall we loved our stay here, we chose this as a central location, so we could travel around Maine but we really enjoyed Boothbay Harbor too which had great restaurant and Shoppes. The cabin is very secluded and had beautiful view of the water. The only complaint I would have was the linens bedding and towels) could have been nicer. The mattress was a little uncomfortable. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely book the dome house again..

PICTURES ARE DECIEVING
Thank God we brought our own toilet paper, I guess one role should last for 4 nights/5 days? Floor was dirty alone with dog drool all over the sliding glass door, dog hair and on the cough/pillows! The deck was filthy. And by the way we cover the cough with a sheet for our dog!!! No instruction for heat/AC! The water looked great when the tide was in, looked real gross when it was out! The cleaning charge should be credited, my 10-year-old grandson son could have done a better job! . Will never use VRBO again and definitely never stay at the Dome House again!!!

Late October Weekend
Beautiful spot, secluded yet easy to get into Boothbay Harbor. Convenient location for many of the Nature Preserve trails. The house was clean and comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen wares(pots, pans etc) was wonderful. Enjoying a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the cove and watching the birds was relaxing and exactly what we needed. We would book this house again.

Dome in the woods
Cute, interesting house in the woods. Very workable kitchen, nice new bath. As others mentioned the couches are not the most comfy, the tv will only stream so bring your logins and passwords for watching. Heating worked well to warm things up in mid October for us. There are other heaters/AC/dehumidifiers that could use some instruction on how/when to use.

Secluded and relaxing.
The Dome House was a great place to stay near all the Boothbay area has to offer, yet you feel a world away from it all. The water view changes with the tides and it is very quiet and relaxing. The accommodation is unique and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even toiletries upon arrival. The beds were well made up with extra blankets and clean towels. We had a very nice stay and will be back again!

Nice spot, dated house.
The Dome House was built in the 70s. It does not appear to have been updated much. Everything about the house was adequate but not exceptional. Views of the tidal creek were limited from inside; being there in warm weather would allow you to sit on the deck and enjoy the view more. The inside seating was, again, adequate, but not particularly comfortable. Vacasa, the property management, was slow to respond and provided the wrong internet password. Overall, not a disaster, but not a house we'd return to.

Short Stay in Our Favourite Area
The unit was pleasant and the bed was extremely comfortable, even the pillows. The Living Room Furniture leaves alot to be desired, expecially as we are older adults., and want to comfortable during the evening! Otherwise, it was a good place to hang out while visiting our family and where we got married 5 years ago (Spruce Point Inn).

Overall a super cute cottage
Really cute little cottage in the woods close to downtown boothbay harbor which was super fun. It was mildewy when we got there and both ended up with sore throats. Sadly the grill was out of propane so we couldn’t grill any of the things we brought with us for dinners.
