Quaint cottage
The cottage was clean and cute. The location was convenient to town but not special. Our only misgiving was difficulty with the entry codes and lock box although the support team remained dedicated to troubleshooting and we ultimately prevailed. I would recommend the property for a short stay by a small group.

Cute and cozy stay!
This converted horse barn is a charming, cozy place to stay that's close to places to eat, shopping, and the Botanical Gardens in Boothbay Harbor. It's was easy to get to, very clean, very comfortable, very quiet! We stayed for 3 nights and would certainly recommend this property for parties of 2, or a couple with 1 kiddo. We really enjoyed our stay and would rebook if in the area again.

The barn was super cute - it was hotter and more humid than expected and the barn kept us cool! Location was central to everything - we walked to all our new BBH faves. We loved our stay.

Great central location. Super close to town.
House was perfect for the 3 of us. Stairs to second floor are narrow and tight for my 6 foot tall hubby. He hit his head a few times. There were a few cobwebs around on the stairs. Sheets, towels and beds were great.

LOVE!
This stable turned boho-chic home was a perfect size and location. My husband and I walked everywhere besides when we drove a few hours to Acadia National Park. My only complaint is that the check-out instructions were not given to us until about an hour before our check-out time. Other than that everything was fabulous!

Cute and rustic
Very cute lodgings - the house had everything you would need. The washing machine and dryer was on the first floor. It was like staying in a converted small barn with old fashioned sinks and overall layout was clean. However, there were a couple of things to watch out for. We arrived at night and everything was pitch dark and even tho we had 3 GPS’s on us (2 phones and 1 in car) it took walking up Park St. to find the house. This was addressed with the property manager and they said they would resolve this by leaving some lights on. Also, we were 2 seniors (68 & 70). The walk to the house was up a short hill with uneven pavers then another 3 steps to the door. Inside the only bathroom was upstairs so plan your steps accordingly! 😄

Charming cottage
Loved this little house. Comfy bed,, well decorated with a simple kitchen that’s very functional and easy to use. It’s a great location to enjoy the Harbor. My issue was with the lack of support from Vacasa when I was unable to unlock the keypad door. It was pouring rain and late and it wasn’t until my 3rd call to customer support when I was given an option to get me in. We pay outrageous additional fees to stay at any VRBO/Vacasa properties and yet customer services seem low priority. I’m moving away from VRBO rentals and going to renting thru smaller vendors. It is more affordable with a local owner or person to help.

Perfect for 5'6" or less
I thought I left a review already but apparently that was with vacasa's website, fitting since they are the reason I took a star off. Property itself 1) Location was perfect! 2) Downstairs was great and plenty big for 2 3) Really wish it was in the listing how short the ceilings were upstairs...if 5'7" or taller expect to stoop or bang your head a lot Management Company 1) Thought it was clean until my wife thought she dropped something...pulled back downstairs braided rug and mass of dirt and old dental floss stick underneath...company does not clean very well, pretty gross 2) Mini split throwing E7 error code 3 of 4 times trying to use heat. Figured out what the issue was but had no idea how to fix it by looking at outside unit 3) Called management company twice using # in guest guide in house. No answer either time and left a message 2nd time for a Joe or Jordan (??) that we were leaving a day early...no return call (I asked for one due to heat issue and cleaning) and likely not acknowledged since I didn't get a check out email from vacasa until next morning. All in all, house was great and perfect location, but management company brings it down a star.

Cute Converted Barn in Downtown Boothbay Harbor
Perfect for two people wanting to spend a vacation in Boothbay Harbor. The barn is extremely cute and walkable to downtown. The bedrooms and single bathroom are upstairs, so keep in mind for any mobility issues.

This was our second stay in Boothbay Harbor and much better location for us. Close to everything but away from the hustle and bustle. The Barn was the perfect size for us. Super cute and creative use of space. We will be staying there again!

Cozy Classic Maine
100%-accurate-to listing, darling, perfectly appointed jewel box. Everything we needed for creating yummy meals, incredibly comfy beds and furniture for naps, reading and movies. Splits/tv remotes were very easy to operate which was a surprise - usually very frustrating. Walking distance to the lovely center of town, also a great base for long, wandering walks thru quaint Boothbay Harbor neighborhoods, minutes from the footbridge into town. Was so happy to arrive, bummed to have to leave.

Great location!
My friends and I really enjoyed this property. We felt like we were staying in a bit of history in Maine. It was very, very clean and had everything we needed. Very homey. We were able to walk to everything! We enjoyed breakfast at Mama D's and ate at several other restaurants in walking distance. We loved walking across the bridge. Be sure and go to the Maine Coastal Gardens. The beautiful flowers and fascinating trolls are not to be missed! Don't bother with the whale tours. Whale sightings are way down this year. We saw nothing on the 3 1/2 hour boat tour. Enjoy this delightful place.

Fall trip
Location was really good. We loved the footbridge over the the village. We absolutely love Booth Bay Harbor. The accommodations were average but comfortable. It was a last minute trip so we were thankful to get a place. The lock to get into the property was difficult so we asked for a key. Once we got a key it was better. Bed was comfortable. The stairwell to get upstairs was pretty cumbersome. We did enjoy our stay.

Charming accommodation, but housekeeping standards let it down
At first glance this little converted barn met our expectations. Nicely designed (but watch your head on the stairs), furnished and provisioned, with all required conveniences. Unfortunately however, we did have issues with housekeeping that I won't go into here. We managed to get in touch with Turnkey, but in the end had to look for and change the sheets on one of the beds just as we were ready for bed. Turnkey were fairly responsive, to give them credit, but there was nothing to be done at 10pm. Otherwise, the property is an enjoyable walk into town across the lovely footbridge. Lots of options for eating, shopping and spending time in nature.
