The main floor of the log cabin has a bedroom with queen bed and large windows to wake up to mountain views. There is also a bathroom and open concept kitchen, dining and living area. Upstairs has the master bedroom with a king size bed and its own bathroom and walkout porch to take in the views. There is also a bonus room with a full-size bed. The bonus room is perfect for kids or young adults as it does have low ceilings and the bed sits on the floor. There is a 45" smart tv in the living room and free fast wireless internet.

PARKING: Driveway and parking pad - 2 vehicles
STAIRS: 2 Stairs to get on the front porch and enter home. Stairway to get upstairs to 2nd room and hibernation room. There is a bedroom & bath on the main floor.
PETS: Pet friendly with fee (paid pre-trip, dogs only, max 2 allowed) $50 pet fee and all dogs must be house trained and over 18 months old. You must agree to keep your dogs off the furniture, keep them crated when left alone, and to pick up after them in the yard.
SMOKING: No smoking/vaping/e-cigarettes/open flames.
TRASH: Trash must be bagged and placed in the trash cans made available on the property. If trash cans are full beyond capacity during your stay, it is your responsibility to remove additional trash and dispose at a local reciprocal trash station. Advanced Disposal: 44-51,
MOTORCYCLES: We do not recommend Motorcycles due to the gravel roads
ROADS: The roads in the community are mountain roads. If you are not use to them the first time will be a little intimidating but then they become part of the adventure. They change every day depending on the weather. We recommend a large SUV or 4wheel drive. The cabin is 2.1 miles from the main highway 515 which will take about 10-15min to get to the house.

Guest will be provided the lock box code a few days prior to check-in. Contactless check-in provided.
The Neighborhood:
Home is located in Cherry Log Mountain community. There are trails throughout the community that can be accessed by walking down the roads. There is an abundance of wild life so keep a look out for Deer, Turkeys or Bear. There are 2 lakes towards the back. We would recommend downloading the Far Out App and get the Benton MacKaye trail off of it for hiking trails throughout the community.
Getting Around:
We are 7 miles from downtown Blue Ridge where you will find lots of antique shops and restaurants. Hike the famous Appalachian Trail, visit Fall Branch Falls, or spend the day on the waters of Lake Blue Ridge. There is also the Expedition Bigfoot, Sasquatch Museum right down the road.
The small town of Ellijay is about 13 miles South where you will find more antiques shops and restaurant. It is also known for its mountain bike trails.
The roads in the community are mountain roads. If you are not use to them the first time might be a little intimidating but then they become part of the adventure. I drive a minivan but depending on the weather a large SUV or 4 wheel drive is recommended. The cabin is 2.1 miles from the main highway 515 but it will take about 10-15min to get to the house.
