THE SPACE
The open floor plan includes a fully-equipped kitchen, living room with sofa bed and an adjacent dining room. Enjoy the indoor hot tub attached to the living area with 180 degrees of windows with views. Just off the living room, access the large, wrap around deck for grilling out or reading a book while listening to the sounds of the Toccoa River.
In the summer months you will feel secluded by the surrounding trees. In the winter months you will be treated to a partial view of the river once the trees drop their leaves.
The primary bedroom and living room both feature skylights, alongside peaked ceilings to let in natural light all day, and a star-filled sky at night. The bedroom has an adjoining full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and contains a 32" Roku TV to enjoy any streaming services you subscribe to.
A short walk down the driveway and across Aska Road will bring you to a strip of private riverfront where you can enjoy some of the best Trout fishing in the state of Georgia so don't forget to pick up a fishing license.
LOCAL SPOTS
Near the cabin is a riverside restaurant and two tube rental companies if you’re looking to float down the river. Also within walking distance is a small convenience store and cafe where Charlie and his wife will be happy to fix you up with a quick meal at very reasonable prices.
One mile away, you'll find The Lilly Pad Village where you can get an all-day pass for mini golf for $6. They also offer gem mining and fishing in stocked ponds.
You can find hiking trails like Fall Branch Falls just 3 miles from the cabin for a short half-mile hike to the base of a double waterfall.
Swan Drive-in, one of only 310 remaining drive-in theaters in America is just 8 miles down the road for a fun, socially distant movie night out.
There's no better location to base all your Blue Ridge adventures!
NOTE: The driveway to get up to the cabin is very steep, and requires a vehicle with decent clearance to park at the top (truck, SUV, jeep, etc). There is room to park at the bottom of the driveway, and stairs going up to the cabin, which is recommended. If you park at the top, it's two flights of steps up to the front door. If you park at the bottom, there are an additional three flights of steps.
If mobility is an issue, this may not be the cabin for you as there are no ramps and lots of stairs.
