Great place to stay. The room was spacious. I asked for a crib in the room before hand, even though it wasn’t installed when I arrived, the staff brought it shortly after we arrived. There wasn’t also enough towels, but the staff brought them in no time. Overall a good place to overnight if you are traveling and driving by.

Just not a nice area. The staff was nice enough though. The breakfast was mediocre based on the fact that we had to pay for it and it was no better than at a La Quinta where it was free the day before. The only good thing was real silverware and dishes, so not creating more garbage. Keep that up!

Being under construction is a disadvantage but the staff managed it well. The website said the pool was closed so we unpacked our suits. Come to find out, it wasn’t closed. The first room had puke on the bottom of the bed between the nightstand and bed. Staff was extremely apologetic and moved us rooms. Honestly, Bloomington doesn’t have much in terms of nice options for hotels. This was a fine middle of the road option. Location was good away from downtown. This hotel would be a repeat for me outside of the construction. It was well staffed and very friendly. But that only goes so far when there is puke on the bed. Overall, I’m a critic sharing the good, the bad, and the pukey 😒
