Shame no one checked the grill.
1st we had a very relaxing stay. Although the were a number of small issues we were fine until we came to use the grill. One burner was totally broken making it unsafe and unusable. Called Vacasa at 2.30pm but no one could come out that day so had to just use the broiler, not the same. This left us very concerned as all our meals for the next 7 days were things to cook on the grill. Fortunately, we did get a new grill in time to cook dinner the next day. We were lucky that it was just the two of us, as there wasn't full dinner service or silverware for 4, one teaspoon! Bathroom light didn't work, upstairs b/room door didn't latch and 1 of the dogs kept getting in but couldn't get out. Night light in bathroom needed a new bulb, saucepan selection poor 1 small 1 large nothing in between, Bathroom door veneer peeling off, had to watch dog as it was very tempting, As I say we had a great stay and only the grill was a big issue, everything else we could live with, but you did ask. Oh, dogs loved the fenced in yard, can't believe this is not mentioned in the property info. All the checkout instructions said to load the dish washer and turn it on, we spent all 9 days looking for it but I guess it had been stolen along with the DVD player. Also one instruction said strip the bed where another says don't strip the bed, also the max temp for hot tub is different depending on where you read. It appears many of the instructions were generic not specific to the property.

A secluded cabin with a great hot tub on the deck
Overall the property was what we expected - comfortable, secure, and quiet. If we were disappointed it related to the furnishings in the kitchen - 3 coffee cups, unmatched flatware, a mis-mash of glasses and dishes that had not been thoroughly cleaned by a previous tenant. BUT - I do like to cook and intend to make myself at home when traveling. Most folks probably wouldn't have an issue. The space was good for this trip. Would I return - hard to say.

Great Cabin Close to Blairsville
Cabin is starting to look run down. Blinds in upstairs bathroom have broken slants, some of the downstair blinds don't work. Couch is so old it actually has foam under the cushions. etc. No 9x13" pan, no 8x8" pan, no casserole dish or baking dishes, only a few pieces of silverware, potato peeler was too dull to use... Just don't plan on doing much cooking! Also, suggest putting garbage cans in a wooden box or metal cage, as animals got in it a couple nights and spread it around the yard. They were both full when we arrived. Someone got the trash leaving the cans empty except for some beer bottles. I picked it up the trash scattered around the yard and made sure we kept our trash bag inside until we checked out.

We are both retired and wanted someplace peaceful and quiet as well as easily accessible. This cabin was perfect! It did have a second floor suite but we had everything we needed on the first level. We loved this place and may consider renting this cabin if we return.

Nice cabin
Nice and clean cabin but you need to update the interior photos. I am disabled and have to sleep in a recliner. I chose this cabin because the photos shows a recliner. However, there is not one. This resulted in 2 miserable nights sleep for me

Cabin in the Woods
Cute cabin in the woods, very clean. Upstairs bedroom has a queen And main floor has a king. 2 full bathrooms, one each floor. One tv in the family area, no tvs in bedrooms. Lots of dresser and closet space, but limited hangers. Beautiful view out the back deck. Fenced area for pet exercise. Grill worked great. Comfortable rockers on the porch. Full Refridgerator and microwave. Lots of small and xlarge cookware but nothing medium. Metal cookware but only 1 glass dish for microwaving: cereal bowls were microwave safe. Plenty of plates, glasses and silverware. Also wine glasses! No household items like windex, and no spices, oil, or other cooking condiments. There was salt, but no pepper, sugar, coffee, tea or creamer. No basics. Aluminum foil was available and we added plastic wrap. The kitchen could be better stocked. Convenient parking out front: Road to the property was gravel with serious potholes. Winery with bistro within walking distance.

Even better than it looks
A comfortable, pleasant, well-equipped house with a fine view of the mountains (when the trees are leafless). The hot tub was a welcome feature on cold evenings. Small road with just a few houses scattered along it, a peaceful place. Some of the pots and pans are of rather low quality, though that is commonly the case. Overall a great stay, though we felt the price was excessive with all the junk fees thrown in.

Nice property, just needs some TLC...
My bestie and I were excited to have a weekend getaway. Our plan was to relax in the hot tub, grill some meat, and take a step back from our normal day to day lives. Unfortunately, it seemed as though this home was sitting vacant for a while because there were dust and cobwebs throughout. Then when we checked the hot tub, the water level was low and seemed to be leaking from the bottom and sides. I contacted the management team, which were apologetic and helpful. The hot tub was rigged so we could use it, but by the next morning the water level was back down. The town alone would make me rent here again. I swear it seemed like a fairytale how nice and welcoming everyone was. From a coffee shop (Abide) and the Ingles! Amazing! Wish we could have a redo weekend.

This cabin was perfect… it had the most beautiful Mountain Views, the place was very clean. Pillows and beds were comfortable, I loved that they had extra blankets. I must say the cabin was very very clean the hot tub was awesome and clean I just wished it would be warmer doesn’t see to have powerful heat. The host was very detailed and responsive and they left instructions in detail which made using the fireplace and hot tub easy. I would say buy stuff before you get there. They have salt and pepper but no auger and if your a coffee drinker your going to want your coffee while looking at those beautiful mountains other than that I loved it and paradise spa is literally down the road best spa massages ever. This is a great location

Close to town
I liked that there was only a few houses on the street. The kitchen was for the most part updated, wish I would have known ahead of time that there was a regular coffee pot (that did not have any filters) & not a keurig. The kitchen wasn't stocked very well (older pots & pans & only salt, pepper, & olive oil). Wasn't a big deal for us, as we were only there for a few days and didn't plan on cooking any. The only real complaints I have is the beds were hard (we ended up sleeping on the couches), according to the vrbo listing the house has 3 parking spots (My truck took up almost the entire parking area), and the cleaning person/company did not vacuum the rugs (there was gold glitter). The check in & out was very easy. The neighbor was very friendly, close the town.

Absolutely beautiful cabin
We loved this cabin. My mom and I went for a weekend get away that we so desperately needed. The cabin was great, the neighbors were friendly, we loved the area. Our only complaint was that the cabin wasn’t stocked as well as were to when renting. Mainly kitchen Necessities such as seasonings, aluminum foil, storage bags, and we really could have used more blankets. Other than that we didn’t have any complaints. It was cold and rainy so we didn’t go anywhere except I the store down the street to buy firewood. They did leave us one bundle of wood but we went through that in a couple of hours so some real firewood for the fireplace would have been good. All in all we had a nice relaxing long weekend and it was just what we needed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.

Cozy cabin
The property was very clean and cozy. It wasn't cold enough to use the fire place, but it was nice that it had a wood burning fire place. The TV wasn't connected correctly to the internet to be able to watch normal channels, but luckily there were recordings that we could watch instead. The management company was very responsive and willing to fix the issue with the TV immediately if needed.
