Wonderful Hotel
It was very nice. It's an older hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. They are pet friendly and have a large dog area in the back. We have been staying here for more than 35 years. We have never been disappointed.

Nothing fancy, but the room was very clean and had been updated. Walls are a bit thin, especially when showers are running. Breakfast did lack quit a bit. No hot items at all.

This is the second time e stayed at Vagabond Inn. The staff are very friendly. the room is comfortable, the breakfast is adequate. We will stay there again.

Vagabond Inn is reliably convenient, clean, and all around pleasant. We always appreciate the quick check-in process. This time around we enjoyed some complimentary muffins on the way out in the morning. Will be back again!

At check in, I requested an extra blanket. The clerk at the desk said they would have it delivered to my room. After over an hour I went back to the front to inquire when I would get my blanket . Now the clerk said they don't have any spare blankets. I would not be getting one. No one bothered to call me. No one was ever going to get me a blanket. I have stayed there many times before. I will NOT be staying there again.

The girl at the desk assigned us a room that was already occupied by a person, laying on the bed. Luckily he was fully clothed when i walked in on him. Then she wanted to give us a room that was upstairs and there is no elevator, and we are in our 70's and we had our dog with us. She did have a room that was acceptable finally. Whew! Other than that, our stay was fine.

Vagabond Inn may have new paint and furnishings, but it's still an old, flimsy building. The floor upstairs (our ceiling) creaked loudly every time the folks above us walked across their room. The exterior wall/window is too thin to keep out any outside noise as well. The breakfast is falsely described on their website as a "deluxe hot breakfast". In reality it is a continental breakfast. My husband is diabetic and we would not have booked this hotel if we knew it lacked a hot breakfast with protein. Staff were not consistent in keeping the food stocked, so guests at times had to go behind the "Employees Only" door to help themselves. The front desk is often not staffed either. So, two stars for a clean adequate room. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Great stay with continental breakfast. Check in came with a smile and was told to insert the key card slow to open the door. We had problems getting in our room, that was the only thing unpleasant about our stay. Hot showers were on point, comfortable bed and nice spacious room. Would stay there again!
