Quick overnight stay

Last minute overnight stay.. due to local road construction the location seemed a little off the road. We trusted the reviews and booked. hotel was clean and comfortable with a continental breakfast.. especially impressed with the shower, it had decent pressure.. for the price it was a great value.

I have stayed here before without incident. This time, check in was horrible, the desk clerk literally ignored me and 5 other guest while she chatted on the phone about her schedule, other staff members, etc. She never even acknowledged us with a look or a "I will be right with you", . Apparently she put me in a room that was marked "dirty". And then gave my room to someone else who was a walk in. So at 11:30 pm a gentleman starts banging on my door, asking my name, and demanding I open the door. He DID NOT even identify himself as an employee. He then explained how they gave me this dirty room and that he would "just comp" this poor couple who now had no place to stay in the middle of the night. I went back to bed and now could not sleep, and I looked at the ceiling and there was black mold! So now it made sense why this room was marked dirty. Of course I had no recourse as the hotel was fully booked so I slept in my car. I reported all this to the desk clerk as I checked out but I did not receive a reply from Management.

There is no lighting marking the entrance to the hotel. The outside seating area had chairs that were broken. The carpet had huge stain on it. The keys didn't work the second day. I was told by property that they couldn't change card I payed with. Expedia told me the property had to change it. The hotel was ok for the price. Walls in room needed to be painted badly. I think the a/c wasn't working as elevator and lobby of hotel were super hot. The area surrounding it is an abandoned hotel.

The staff tried their best. Our bathroom ceiling leaked from upstairs. Clearly this was not new. All the flooring and paint were in horrible repair. The common areas must have no ac as they were hot. I would not stay there again. Badly needs a facelift. Hotel was full so they should have the funds

The room smelled SO bad that we had to go to CVS to buy Febreeze! When we returned, the toilet wouldn’t flush! The only person working there switched our room to an even stinkier room!! At 10:30PM with no place to stay, we left! They (Sina?) refused to refund us! We ended up starting in a CLEAN Hamptons Inn in Owego!

Very poor customer service at arrival. It felt I was bothering the stuff member as we arrived late at night and I ring the bell. It looked like he was sleeping. It felt like I was bothering him. The next day in the morning stuff was much more welcoming and friendly. Room had a vey bad smell but it was clean. Beds were clumpy and very uncomfortable. Breakfast was vey basic.

There was issues with humidity that made it smell like mold. Not sure if it was just old carpeting. That aside, the room and linens were clean, the free breakfast was simple and good, Wi-Fi worked well, and there was also FREE TV. There is no outdoor space that would contribute to the stay. The staff was kind. Id say it was a solid 7/10 for the price.

Non smoking facility. 2nd floor and our room reeked of Marijuana. Carpet in room wet. Wall around air conditioner wet and molded. Mold around sink and on shower curtain. Odors were smothering.

The room has a terrible smell, It's just dirty .. I went to sleep right the way because I wanted to wake up early & leave this place ... It's not worth the money .. breakfast very limited ... you can find better with the same price
