Perfect location.

We enjoyed our stay in 709 very much. Quiet street with light traffic, close to Pine Knot and the marina. The cabin could use a bit of maintenance however. The shower, off the living room, sprayed in your face, not down you body. The BBQ had a lot of old charcoal ash still in it from the previous renters. The accordion room divider was broken and hanging down. Nobody wants to be blamed for that stuff so it should be corrected.

Bad start, good finish

The property we booked was dusty, poorly maintained, and not what we were expecting. We were ready to leave, but we called destination big bear and Nick, the manager, was a pleasure. He was receptive to our concerns and placed us in a nicer property. We went from dissatisfied to very satisfied in a matter of an hour. So a big thank you to Nick, but I would not stay at the original property associated with this booking
