Overlook the surf and sand from this fourth-floor one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath oceanfront condo! Offering exceptional ocean views from the private balcony (with counter-height furniture), this one-level resort getaway offers a living room, dining area, and bedroom (with ceiling fan and a private half bath), as well as a full bath accessible from either the bedroom or the hallway. Both the bedroom and oceanfront sliding glass doors in the living room feature new Vertiglide room-darkening blinds. Dine at the dining table or on one of the barstools at the kitchen counter. This condo's well-equipped kitchen is home to a Keurig, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and a complement of cookware and utensils (restocked by the owners at the beginning of each season). Central air conditioning, washer, dryer, and more. Accessible without stairs. Two flatscreen TVs, DVD, Bluetooth speaker, a library of books and DVDs, board games, puzzles, Keurig, and WiFi.

THINGS TO KNOW
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

**Sea Colony will have ongoing construction from September through May. There will be construction noise that may be heard in the surrounding homes. Please be aware that this may be loud at times.

Note: The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per person resort fee for guests ages 4 and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory.

Do not stay here if you are allergic to dogs
We recently stayed at this property, and while there were some great aspects, there were also a few issues that future guests should be aware of. PROs: * The location is great—Sea Colony is a great community and the ocean views are beautiful. * The apartment layout is functional and provides enough space for a comfortable stay. * Both the TVs and Internet worked well, which was a plus for downtime and staying connected. CONs: * DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO DOGS! The living room rug was gross and had a strong dog smell, which made the space unpleasant for everyone and unhealthy for anyone with a dog allergy. * The furniture could use an update—it wasn’t very comfortable. * The powder room has drop ceiling tiles that are out of place, exposing the floorboards above. It gives an unfinished look and could be an issue for some. * The ceiling in the shower is stained, which detracted from the overall cleanliness. * Closet door in the bedroom was off its track and difficult to use. Overall, while the location and views are definite highlights, there are some maintenance and cleanliness issues that need to be addressed. For those sensitive to pet allergens, I wouldn’t recommend this rental.

The location of the condo, the porch furniture, the view were all great. The condo is in serious need of updates. The carpet in the living room and bedroom are both dirty and stained. The bathroom fixtures are old and need to be updated. Bathroom ceiling is badly stained. Some electrical outlets in the bathroom and bedroom do not work, also missing lightbulbs. The toaster was broken and there was no icemaker and no ice trays in the unit.

Less than satisfied
The view was very nice and the patio furniture was comfortable. The condo seemed to be recently painted and was clean. The fixtures and appliances worked but are all dated. The living room couch was extremely uncomfortable for sitting. However, our biggest complaint was that the internet/wifi and cable were not working (we suspected the account was deactivated) and the rental agency did nothing to resolve the issue even after multiple calls and an in person visit. Would not rent from them again.

Place was dated which I am fine with but an overall deep clean could do this place wonders. Couch uncomfortable and full of sand, two pancake flat pillows on the bed. Found another pillow in the closet on the floor but there was not an extra pillowcase in the whole place. Cable never worked the entire time we were there. Reported it multiple times and it was never resolved, would have been nice to have tv since it was rainy during our visit.

Exactly as pictured
The place was very clean and well maintained. We could tell the minute we walked in the door that our money was well spent. It smelled fresh and clean and it was. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and a half were in good working order. The linens were clean and fresh and there was plenty for the two of us. The best part was the beautiful oceanfront location and gorgeous views. They even had a telescope and we put it to good use. Dealing with the rental agency was quick and easy and we weren’t far from anywhere we wanted to go. We would definitely rent this place again!
