We arrived at the hotel and were greeted with the self service checkin. We did not see anyone from the hotel but the checkin service was simple and straight forward. I purchased WiFi with my booking, as offered on Expedia, but the WIFI was free, although slow. We did ask a member of staff at breakfast, but she did not know and we were checking out the following day. The room was modern, spacious and had comfy bed. The shower was leaking as the shower door didn’t shut fully, again, no staff around to report this too. The overall hotel was modern, clean and loads of space. The breakfast had loads of options to cater for all. Worth the extra money for breakfast. Although, it was very very busy at 9am on a Sunday, but there were plenty of tables to choose from. The nearest bus stop is a 2 minute walk and part of the City Sightseeing Hop on/off route which we used. Overall, very limited interaction with the hotel as we didn’t see any staff, hotel was modern and clean and would stay here again.

Great stay
Lovely hotel with a great atmosphere ….let down a little by check in process. Felt sorry for staff helping with the checkin as this as the system is clearly problematic. Overall a great stay and would recommend and return.

Everything was great - the welcome staff, the room, the breakfast … all except the male bar managers - they seemed very grumpy, took ages to even acknowledge our existence and then were most affronted that we wanted to order drinks. A shame as this was out of kilter with the rest of the place and staff.

The staff of the hotel is somewhat unprofessional to a level, even rude. Checking in was not easy. The computer screen for the check-in point was in another language and asked for help checking in the employee just pointed at the screen and and then proceeded to walk away. The room had the ceiling of lots of humidity. It was very warm and sticky feeling the room was also very far away from the lobby, and there seem to be many other rooms that they could’ve given us much closer and more convenient. Also, the room had very poor sound insulation. You could hear your neighbors and you could also hear all the street noise outside that made the sleeping experience very poor. The breakfast at the hotel is very overpriced. You could find much less expensive options outside the premises of the hotel within walking distance

The hotel is in really good condition and the staff were friendly. Despite us going for a 'cosy' room it actually very spacious. Being first timers we think we found ourselves in the more financial district of Berlin but the sites are very spread out and can easily pick up a taxi or walk if you leave yourself plenty of time. It was very close to the beautiful gardens.

Really nice affordable hotel with friendly staff. Easy to check in/check out. Rooms very spacious, comfortable and clean. Good breakfast offering continental and hot food, bakery items, all fresh and tasty! Convenient 7 minute walk to the nearest underground station or 2 minute walk to the bus stop. Definitely recommend for a visit to Berlin!

The hotel is abouts 10 minutes from the local U train. Its got buses outside too. The hotel itself is okay its quite large so very busy. Self check in which was ok but no information on breakfasts nothing so was a hunt the next morning. The hotel rooms were boiling hot all day. We had to leave the windows open all day. The.air con was useless. The room was nice and the bed was ok and room clean. Breakfast was decent, again it's was huge room and thr queue was long for coffee machines and ONE 4 slice toaster. The immediate area around hotel was lackluster. No shop no cafes or bars etc.. no atmosphere. It was 15 minutes walk to Ka De We. Would i stay here again.. no i wouldnt.

Room was big and spacious, nice shower. Breakfast was good. Only downside was the door for the toilet was see through we through so no privacy. Also the room was cold, the duvet was very thin and not big or warm enough. Did ask staff for another duvet but didn't get one only a thin sheet

We stayed here for the weekend as a family with teenagers to visit the Christmas markets. The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed them. The hotel has a modern quirky feel with the art on the walls and decor all around the hotel. For a large hotel it felt very cosy and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was really good and we also had lunch in the bar on the first day which was very tasty. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was good nice set up got family. Breakfast was plentiful! Two down sides: it seemed that heat could not be regulated and no service at checkin or out. Have to check in yourself and reservation number wasn’t accurate from hotels. So had to wait around to find someone at front kiosks.

Uncomfortable stay.
I’ve stayed here before which is why I booked it again but this experience was such a let down. Service from the start was poor and the room was basic for the price. There was also nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom, the shower leaked the whole stay and the pressure was so bad. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable to the point it has hurt my back. Wouldn’t recommend staying here
