The rooms were stunning, clean and full of complimentary things. The breakfast buffet Id highly recommend. The staff was always friendly, helpful, probably some of the best we have come across ever. We arrived at night and the area didnt appear to be safe to walk about, however during the day it was absolutely fine. Short 15 min walk to the port and aquarium. Travelling alone with 2 children at no time did we feel unsafe. The only thing that maybe could be looked at is the lack of children options on the resturaunt menu. We ended up ordering in due to not having any options for kids on the menu.

Great hotel, super convenient for those coming from or going to the cruise ships as it is about a 7 minute taxi ride. Staff were great at the hotel. Upon check in the hotel staff provided lots of great information, made us a reservation at a wonderful restaurant close by. Buffet breakfast was great for 20 Euro per person. The mini bar was free with waters and juices. We walked down towards the harbour and caught the hop on hop off bus which allowed us to see so much in a day. Location- exercise caution, daytime was ok but where we went for dinner the first night upon arrival, we walked there as it was daylight, the hotel recommended taking a taxi back to the hotel even though it was only 1/2 km away and we understood why having walked there. We followed their advice.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at Apolo Barcelona! From the moment we arrived, Inés was courteous and helpful, ensuring we felt welcomed even though we were early. Later in the evening, Ana checked us into our room and went above and beyond by recommending Tracatra in Las Ramblas for dinner and even making a reservation for us! Her attentiveness truly made our experience memorable. The room itself was spectacular, with a clean, fresh smell and a great city street view. Gabriel was also wonderful, assisting us with our luggage and catching us a cab as we departed. The hotel's proximity to the city center made it easy to explore. Overall, it was a short but wonderful stay, and we look forward to returning!

Excellent hotel
Excellent hotel but the guests are amongst the most bizarre I’ve ever experienced. Taking hour long phone calls in the hallway. Letting kids run around the halls at like 1am. No fault of the hotel at all but you just wonder what is wrong with people
