The Pros about this hotel is that it is close to the regional train and the metro. There are various food options and a grocery store on the block. The breakfast was good and there is a large lounge to sit and have a drink or eat. Rooms are spacious but lacked a closet and a place to hang clothes. The Cons were the outside noise and room doors slamming when neighboring guests were coming in and out of the rooms. There were some bums on the outside of the building and drunks if you walk down the backstreet at night.

Excellent hotel, I stayed here often in its previous life as The Expo. The hotel has under gone a major refurb and has a very young, energetic vibe. It’s very clean & comfortable. All the staff here are very friendly and helpful. My come to hotel when in Barcelona.

The hotel has a fantastic location, right next to the train station, which makes it very convenient for travel—though unfortunately, the proximity means it's quite loud, especially at night. The decor is stylish and modern, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. However, our stay wasn’t as restful as we hoped. Someone in a nearby room kept their TV on at an extremely loud volume until after 3 a.m., making it hard to sleep. The beds were surprisingly uncomfortable, which didn't help matters. Also, while the bar itself has a great vibe, I’d recommend sticking to beer—the bartender didn’t seem confident with mixed drinks. A small heads-up would’ve been helpful for the motion-detection lights under the bed, as we spent a while trying to figure out how to turn them off! Overall, it’s a cool spot with lots of potential, but a few improvements could make it a much more enjoyable experience.
