Bad mattress and bad smell

The description is not correct, the photos are the photos of the cabins, there are no photos of the motel rooms. Very basic motel - old and stinky, the mattress was horrible (king size) - feels like you sleep on the cardboards. The room smelled like combination of a cheapest cleaning detergent and mold, moisture or something like that. You cannot open the windows to get a fresh air. In my opinion, it is highly overpriced. Any motel or hotel should offer comfortable bed and clean good bedding.We spent two nights there, and the first night was a torture for me - I needed to put a face mask because I couldn't stop sneezing...

We did not get the room that we requested and was over charged for what we were quoted, we left and did not stay. We will be requesting a full reimbursement

Excellent option if your trip plans are hiking in Acadia. Close to the park & dining, shopping, entertainment options in Bar Harbor. Clean and comfortable place for us to crash and recharge.

The motel room was clean and comfortable. The bed could use a mattress topper and it would have been great! My husband said he could feel springs in his back during the night. It was a good location to go to Acadia and the restaurant on the bay was a really nice place to eat!

What a great last-minute stay. I had here with my dog COCO the place was immaculate. The housekeeper was so nice and absolutely. Just love the little doggy area.
