Girls trip

We chose this location for our annual ladies scrapbooking trip. there was adequate space for the five of us. There would not have been room for any more in the living room space. It was hard to tell from the pictures as the space looks bigger in the photographs, but it was perfect for our small group of five. The bedrooms were awesome and the beds were super comfy. There were just a few minor hiccups, but overall first day was great and would choose this location again if we were to go back to Bandon. The walk to the beach was super close which was awesome.

Needs some TLC

Because the property is older, we weren't expecting a new, updated place, but some items and areas definitely need attention. Check-in was at 4:00pm. We couldn't get in until 4:45 because cleaning wasn't finished. The shower across the hall from the master bedroom was "cleaned" but it wasn't rinsed out at all leaving a film inside. The bath mat is small so it was impossible not to touch the surface of the shower. Being so slippery, it caused a fall, resulting in a bruised hip and a torn shower liner on the way down. The 2nd bedroom window does not open, which is probably a fire hazard. Some of the mattresses were obviously old and not very clean. Old pillows could be replaced. Also, if the firepit is not useable, why not remove it from the property? It appears to be quite portable. The location is great...short walk to the beach, which was very nice.

Location, location, location

Sea Breeze is what I would call sort of a "funky beach house". It is located a block from the South Jetty so you can be on the jetty or the sand in under five minutes, It's close to Old Town Bandon, maybe a five minute drive and it is capable of sleeping a large number of people. Only four in my party so we barely used the all the space available. I'd recomend Sea Breeze for those with extended family as the best fit. There is a nice wood stove in the main room and a fire pit out back. Those who are into that kind of thing will love hearing the fog horn sing quite often, you can hear it all through the house. The wifi and TV were fine. If you are looking for a gourmet, executive kitchen or five star amenities this is not the place but it is quite nice, 'Beachy' may be the best word. I would probably not stay again but that is based on the size of my family rather than the Sea Breeze itself. I enjoyed my stay quite a bit.

Great spot in bandon close to town and the beach. About 15 minute drive to bandon dunes and a perfect spot for our 4 golfers. Would stay here again.

Avoid this windy dump.

Wind blows through cracks and windows. Sofa was horrible. Washing machine didn't work. TVs in bedrooms weren't connected to cable, satellite, or Internet. Bad water pressure in showers.

Great location, but house is in disrepair

The location was great, good proximity to Old Town. However, in one of the bathrooms, the shower didn't work at all and the sink didn't drain. Another shower was so small that the shower hit you in the face (no getting away from it). The house was advertised that there were TV's in every room...one bedroom didn't have a TV at all, the TV didn't work in another bedroom, and the TV's were only set up with streaming so you couldn't watch TV at all if you didn't have your own accounts with the streaming services. The washing machine was missing the agitator and there was a mouse running around in the house. Our check-in time kept getting pushed back and we were finally let in to the place around 6pm due to the previous rental party leaving the place a total mess. Cassandra, the host, was wonderful. She did her best to try and fix the issues with the house and stayed in communication well. Unfortunately, the shower and washing machine were not able to be repaired while we were there. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was pretty well equipped. The sitting areas were nice. Overall, the house would've been a nice place to stay if it hadn't been in such disrepair. We feel the rental fee was way too high for a house in that condition.

Nice, but could be more comfortable

There were 6 of us. The home can sleep 10, but isn't really equipped for that. The microwave was missing its glass plate, which made it basically unusable for the most part. The oven is small, the burners on the stove were slow to heat. We were cooking in because of COVID-19, so the kitchen was needed. There's not much of an ocean view, but the house is just a block from beach access.

Needs dining set for 8 (only seats 4) and seating in living room for 8 (1 sofa,1 oversize chair only seats 4 in living room to watch a movie). Very small oven and microwave, no working clocks, odd steps 3 places on main level to watch out for. No railing on entry steps and railing leading to upstairs large family room doesn't extend all the way to bottom to include a hazardous much larger deeper bottom step (almost fell)....

Great house for large group

Plenty of great beds and space. We had 2 small kids and the blackout curtains in the master were much appreciated for naps. We slept 8 very comfortably. 2 bedrooms are in a separate wing which is quiet. Well stocked and had everything we needed. Clean too! We will be back! Casandra was extra helpful and very attentive. Bathroom sink got plugged but that’s easy to fix. Could use a bigger eating table. Over all very happy with the rental😇

Very cozy and spacious.

Loved staying here! Our favorite part was the ocean facing loft; where we had coffee, read, and enjoyed a bottle of wine and sunset. We were disappointed it didn’t have a BBQ, as that’s how we cook in fair weather. There are a few maintenance issues, as mentioned in other reviews. That and the lack of BBQ is the only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars.
