Drift through the canal or paddle to Pamlico Sound. The home is nestled on a large private grassy lot, perfect for the kids and dogs. Fish for hours off the private two tier dock, for easy water access. The screened porch offers a space to relax and enjoy nature. Catch moments of peace in the morning and watch the sky turn pink over the trees or in the evening as the sun sets over the water. Underneath the house is a large concrete area for parking, outdoor games and a large storage room for your sports gear. Gather the family for a short walk to the beach. Wash off in the outdoor shower or use one of the two convenient hose spigots after a sandy day at the beach.
Inside you'll be welcomed by vaulted ceilings, with exposed beams and an open floor plan. WiFi and smart TVs throughout, surround sound stereo inside and on the screened porch. Settle into one of the three bedrooms, a master king sized bed with a private attached bath, second queen bedroom. The third bedroom includes two singles.
Every inch of this beach cottage will remind you of Hatteras Island. You’ll find yourself always drifting back to DRIFTER’S DOCK.
*Guests have access to Kinnakeet Shores Pool & Tennis courts. You will sign in with the attendant using the house name.
Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-refundable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.
