(Aug. 16-18) Overall, my two-night stay with friends was incredible. If you're able, I highly recommend booking a room with a view. My friends and I had deep conversations while looking out at the Columbia River. The washer and dryer facilities aren't great quality.. but food, hot tub, beds and furniture, mini fridge, shower/bath, staff. All incredible.

Everything at the motel was pleasant, the location is great, it was quiet and clean. The bed however, was EXTREMELY uncomfortable and should be replaced. IF the bed would have matched up to the rest of the place, we'd have had a great nights sleep.

A little out of town was good to get away from the downtown scene. The motel is 'vintage' and 'historic' in ways I don't mind, but some of the things about our room were laughable. 8x11 space for the bed. (My kid offered to take a pillow to the single round table and sleep sitting in the chair.) Vintage mirror desilvering, vintage Kleenex wall dispenser rusting. Miniscule sink. I liked the new windows and the vents built in them, but the room was so small you can't actually pull the curtains all the way back. The box fan was a great idea for ventilation, since it stays cool there even in summer. Safe, convenient, but claustrophobically cramped for one. For two? They'd better be *good* friends. I've slept in larger tents. Best wishes, but we'd choose a different room at this facility if we were to stop there again.

Beautiful area but not for light sleepers

This is an older property but has been updated. The area of the motel is beautiful and nice views from the room patio. There is not much soundproofing. We could hear a TV from another room clearly in our room. We could also hear others walking above us and the showers from other rooms. This was 'normal noise' one would make in a room and not noisy guests. Pillows not that comfortable.

The property is really outdated. Looks like they remodeled the rooms from the front but not the ones from the back that don’t have a view. Those are really old. The mattress was really uncomfortable, the pillows were small and uncomfortable as well. The room itself is noisy, the walls, the water crossing the pipes, the furnace, etc. It is an overpriced old motel, I wouldn’t come back.
