Great place for National Park Visiting

My daughter and her family….an 8 year old and a 4 year old stayed here to enjoy a 5 days of traveling on the Blue Ridge Parkway and hike through some beautiful areas. We visited 4 national parks and a couple of state parks! This was centrally located for our travels and SO VERY accommodating for all of our travel needs! The kids LOVED the game room and we loved having plenty of space to spread out in each night! If we ever come through Black Mountain/Asheville, we will book this place again!

Quaint home away from home

Roomy, well appointed. refurbished woodframe home. Although there were only 3 in our party, there is plenty of room for a family of 6 or 8 to spread out. Carpet in the 2 smaller bedrooms could use replacement or cleaning. Ceiling fans, a/c filter vent, exhaust fan in hall bathroom, window sills, baseboards and bedroom doors along with outdoor seating do need a good spring cleaning. "Bicycle room" had the firmest mattress, "sunflower room" mattress was a bit softer and the master bedroom had most comfortable mattress, at least in our opinion. We enjoyed the board games and the ping pong table. Q Located in a quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic. May sound odd, but we enjoyed the creaky wood floors as it reminded us of our late grandmother's old mountain home. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone who wants to get away to the mountains but not be too far from a bigger city like Asheville. Black Mountain downtain shopping area was wonderful & is only a short drive away!

Sibling-Spouse Fall Get-Away

We traveled from different areas within NC and TN for a sibling-spouse minivacation. This property is ideal for groups having members with a range of activity and mobility levels as it is a single level dwelling. The ping pong table is an asset as is the living area with adequate and comfortable seating for 6 adults. The large dining table was perfect for playing cards as well as meals. The master bedroom is very spacious. One of the two remaining bedrooms is of nice size but the third is quite small. The neighborhood is quiet. Two of us enjoyed sitting outside one afternoon reading and being accompanied by the HS marching band practice, which was enjoyable. The four others inside did not hear the band. The property is adjacent to a trafficked road. We were not aware of this in the daytime but some vehicle noise can be heard on weekday mornings (~6:00 am). The host is very pleasant and response time is excellent. Recommendation: we would stay at „The Beverly“ again.

Our daughter got married in Asheville with the reception in Black Mountain so the size and location of Beverly’s was perfect for our family. The property is well maintained and very clean. We appreciated the large driveway to accommodate four vehicles as well.

Perfect amount of space

My family was visiting for the Christmas holiday and we wanted a place that we could spend time together in as well conveniently located to Asheville and the Arboretum. We chose this house based on the pictures and listing description of having a fenced yard, game room and separate living room so that we could gather but also have some space if we wanted have some quiet time, as there were 12 of us. The house was perfect for us! Everyone enjoyed the game room for puzzling and shooting pool. My nieces and I spent time using the big dining room table to do Christmas crafts. The open kitchen/dining area was great for meal prep. The home was decorated for the holidays so we felt right at home. The location wasn't too far off the interstate so it was an easy 15-20 minutes to downtown Asheville to see a play at the community theater and about the same to get the Arborteum for the Holiday lights. The owners were very responsive when we messages them about a couple of things. The home was no frills but very comfortable from our needs.

Family Visit

Went to visit my wife's Nephew for the weekend. Our daughter, and Grandson as well as wife's brother and mom came along as well. Near their home so it was a perfect location. However, no matter what your purpose the location is good. Near all the essentials, and we'll as the parkway. Downtown Asheville is not far away and the view from the backyard is awesome. Mountains are right there. Great place to stay in the area.

They didn’t miss a beat!

The Beverly was the perfect addition to our visit in the Mountains. The house was incredibly well furnishings like many of the reviews have already stated. Everything was very clean, welcoming and we felt very at home! The bonus game room was a huge hit with our kids and they even asked if we could build one of these back at home. Thanks again for adding to our memories on this trip out to the Carolinas!

Memorable stay in Black Mountain

Lovely house with every comfort of home. We particularly appreciated having everything on one level. We managed to lock ourselves out on the first night and the hosts responded immediately with instructions on how to get inside. Conveniently located for sightseeing, dining and excursions to the surrounding area. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect family setting

Easy flow between rooms and spacious kitchen & enclosed rec. area.

Nice place but Lake Eden Rd. was quite noisy with early morning traffic. The muted color theme and lack of pictures on the walls created quite a stark environment. Not your higher end rental , but nice and we enjoyed it as a home base. Don't forget to go to Montreat while here. Such a beautiful area.
