Red Fox Velo -Gorgeous Cabin Nestled in the Pines

Summary:
Our home is completely remodeled with all wood floors throughout. New kitchen and appliances make Red Fox Velo a great home away from home. The home is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin on a double lot (1.2 acres) situated between Angel Fire Resort Country Club and Monte Verde lake.  We are 8 min to the slopes and only 4 minutes to the country club or the lake. Red Fox Velo has plenty of room with 1 king, 2 queens, and 2 full/2 twins in the bunk room.
There are 2 wood-burning fireplaces, a wraparound front deck, and a large private deck in the back. There is also a gas grill and seating on the deck for outdoor dining. 

There is plenty of parking and easy year-round access. Great for families with a playhouse and zip line for the small kids. Downstairs is equipped with a Nintendo game, kids toys, and board games.
All new amenities with new appliances, flooring, and fans in each room.  The garage is available for storage and work on skis/bikes.

Guest Access:
Red Fox Velo is on a keypad system, so a code will be sent to you in a separate email. The access times are set at our standard check-in and out times of 4 pm and 11 am. Let us know if you would like to get access earlier and we will do our best to accommodate that.

The Neighborhood:
Our home is nestled in the pines about a mile from the town center of Angel Fire. The Ski Lift parking lot and grocery store are just minutes away. Yet, our home has a very private feel with lots of quiet space all the way around the property. We are also located about a mile from the Angel Fire Country Club. Boating and Fishing are available approximately 1 mile away at Monte Verde Lake.

Other Things to Note:
Our software automatically discounts 10% for weekly stays and 20% for monthly stays and our posted prices is our best price, so please do not message us asking for a "special discounted rate."
Angel Fire is a Ski Town in the Mountains of New Mexico, 4WD or AWD Vehicles required November through March
The locks, the cleaners and our maintenance personnel all work on an automated schedules based on our published check-in time and check out times. In addition, we only have a narrow 5 hour window to prepare the property between the posted checkout time and the posted check-in time. For these reasons early check in or late checkout is no longer free and "may" be able to be purchased at a rate of $20/hour prior to check-in time, or $20/hour after listed checkout time.
We accept dogs not cats for an additional $100 nonrefundable pet fee
If there are any issues during your stay, please contact the host and give them the opportunity to address any issues before leaving a negative review or asking for a discounted stay.

Great Summer Vacation Home For Families
We had an amazing stay. The kitchen had everything you could imagine and more. The kids loved the play structure and zip line. Manager was very responsive too. We will be back.

Great for family vacation
The kids had a blast on the Zipline and treehouse. 3 bathrooms worked well for us. Plenty of living space. Property Info in a binder in the house differed from info from mgmt group- which was confusing at first.Needed to take all garbage to a trash facility in town. Make sure you understand hidden fees when booking. Would book again.

Mid-Winter Weekend
House was very dirty, seems a dog stayed there previous to us, dog hair everywhere. Towels, dishes, sheets, and more were not clean. No shampoo or soap was provided. There was propane, but the grill was filthy. The house was a good size for three families, with plenty of seating for eating. The garage was nice to have for ski storage. Good location, close to golf course club house and fairly close to ski area. The kids had fun playing on play set in the back, however we had to tighten bolts for it to be safe to play on. It would have been a great place for us if it had been clean. Sad to say it was so disgusting.

Lovely Home in Angel Fire
Such a great home nestled in the woods. Our daughter (6) was on the zip line everyday and the tree house was just a bonus! The most well equipped VRBO we have stayed in. There was everything and anything you needed to cook. Great spot and will be back!!

Perfect Set-up for a family!
This house suited our family perfectly! Master bedroom is private, two other bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom with 2 sinks. Downstairs is a great kid bedroom with full bath. The great room with soaring ceiling is large and open, kitchen is well stocked to cook just about anything. Only negative thing we encountered was the washing machine didn’t work, but I know parts are hard to get right now. Just would have liked a heads up as we only packed 2 base layers per person. Laundromat in town is not great, they didn’t have a working change machine. This was a crazy snow week, they got about a foot of snow. The maintenance guy was great about coming to plow, but sort of plowed my daughter in, it would be better if he’d shoot us a text when he’s coming so we can move cars. I asked if we needed 4wd and was told no, but a few days the only vehicle that we could get out was the 4wd. We ended up buying chains for the other 2 vehicles and that solved it. Overall, we all loved it and would absolutely stay here again.

Great location, fun for kids
We loved the location - close enough for a short drive to the ski slopes but lots more space than a condo. The outdoor area was fantastic for the kids to play. They really loved the zipline and the sleds from the garage. The kitchen was very well-stocked. Beds were comfortable.

Perfect, fall, family getaway
Our family traveled from Albuquerque for a long weekend, this was a great place for our stay. The rooms and beds were spacious and comfortable, plenty of entertainment, and man is it beautiful! Also, being able to bring our dogs was a HUGE plus! Communication was quick and easy and this place is well stocked! Would come again and stay longer!
